Started out with a decent -10 in R1 followed by another solid -13 in R2. Then shot a -11 in R3 and thinking I just need a solid 4th round to contend. Debated on stopping until another day but the putter was damn hot and my lines were pretty straight so I went for it. I couldn’t get anything going. Between pitches checking up, bad kicks and edge burning putts I could only manage a -6 and that was a struggle. On a positive, my goal was -40 and I hit it. I will say it was a good way to start the new year and hopefully I can get back to form. Some rounds I feel like my old self and others I feel lost. Good luck! Can I be part of the cool club? 😎

I was dreading playing as I was on vacation and hadn't tried the new post-patch swing...but after a few practice holes it still felt the same so I soldiered on. Forgot to practice flopping though, so that was a surprise to see my flops roll out like a banshee, especially on that par 5 with the crazy green where I stymied myself completely in round 1. Smartened up after that though and actually played quite well. -7, -10, -9, -12 for -38. Definitely a solid return to action, here's hoping I can keep avoiding demotion marks through to Sawgrass.

-16 after two rounds after a bad (yet bogey-free) opening round. I probably got more of a workout trying to smash 45-85 foot putts 2-5 feet uphill than I did with my full swings over the course of that round. Second round was much better and I actually seemed to finally find some touch with the putter down the stretch.
2nd hole in round 1 and 13th hole in round 2. Whatever. If I could have broken something, I would have.

Grrr... R3 in the books @ -9.
Had a couple of monster balls ups going for FF drives where keeping it in play would’ve done (one cost me a bogey) and pushed 2 delicate putts which could’ve made a real difference.
Finished 🐦 🐦 🦅 to be -29 thru R3. Another nearly kind of day. Was a bit breezy out there.

Still playing some woeful golf, I've no idea what's changed in the last couple of weeks? -21 after two is pretty harsh though, considering some of the chances that I squandered and putts going mysteriously offline straight of the blade.
I couldn't get anywhere near a straight line in the HUD tonight and my tempo is all over the place. I played this morning and it felt OK, tonight, I might as well have let my niece take over the controller as I'm sure that she could have done a better job of hitting it straight!
If I could have got the putter working, I might still be in with a shout: sadly, I don't remember holing a single putt of any kind of length at all to bail me out? Also, I putted one off the green in round two
I might have to go back to my old controller, at least with that I can hit the thing straight from time to time - the trouble is, it gives me random very fast down swings: usually at the worst time possible.
Absolutely love the course, shame I can't play the shots that I want to atm. Back to the drawing board.

You’re playing Kapalua bud. Consider this a second chance. Edit - darn thought you had played the wrong event. You simply posted to the wrong post. :/

Don’t look now Another country heard from. Been playing crap. Making cuts due to one good round then collapsing to the bottom of the board week in and week out.
The 4 rounds of this tourney were a blur. My swing was crap. I bet you my swing deviation plot looks worse than 80% of those who played this tourney. But it was one of those weeks when everything went right. Even putts were outside the cone a lot. But usually that worked in my favor too and I sunk a bunch. I had to play all 4 rounds at once otherwise my luck would likely turn into the usual crap luck. Anyone who has yet to play round, use my ghost and you will probably laugh your ass off...
-13 -15 -13 -12
-53 total
I know the alarm clock is going to go off any second and I will realize it didn’t really happen. Now I’m wishing this wasn’t a “minor” event. But maybe Crawsey or hippystein or Sloan would have beat that score. Still would enjoy my name in the same area of a leaderboard as those chaps.

Thanks Michael, that gets me off the hook for a poor round 4. Sponsors will be a little more forgiving now!

Good shooting mde, the course and wind were a good test. Some funky greens tho. My 9 year old can sculpt better than this track. I played round one as a tester as ive been racking my brain to see why im smashing all in the societies and shooting solid but nowhere near my best in the tgc. I had been guessing the wind instead of learning the wind meter and i have since found that i was a few mph off leaving me horrible putts and missing a lot of greens. I have had a wind meter lesson and put what i was taught into practice in r2 r3 n r4 and shot -16 -11 -16 and i left a few out there too. So i also shot -53 after a poor bk9 in r1. I feel much more confident now with reading the winds and i cant believe how much i was out. No wonder i was putting so much pressure on my putting. I am actually looking forward to this weeks event now instead of just reeling them off and going bk on cod till Saturday. Just pissed it took me so many events to figure it out. On another subject. The scheduler who picked pga west for the tour needs help. Its one of the worst rcrs going and even tho s2g said hed sorted the greens they are a mess! All these great courses and we get drip fed rubbish.

-9,-12-10,-9 = (-40) Atleast it gives fadgewacker something to chase Happy New Year all I hope u and ur families have a healthy and happy 2019 Bah... Came up 1 short mate! Crap R1 with frame rate BS. Good R2. Decent R3 in the wind (a few marginal errors) and a slightly frustrating R4. Frame rate stutters on putts I blasted through the break cost me 2 holes in a row so I restarted the PS and took 7 off the card in the final 8 holes to finish -10 and -39 for the week. I'm not one that usually suffers with the "technical issues" but it's certainly cost me a good few strokes this week. That said, a lot of my bogeys were nothing to do with frame stutter, and just me with bad decisions / execution. I must've had at least half a dozen bogeys this week. Off for a Chinese burn

Some of these above posts seem like the Twilight Zone. Somebody better lay off the sauce! Are you going give my score a good run? Best I can tell you have the best chance of those who have started this week. I don’t see you beating my score in the wind round (R3) but wondering if you will pull another crazy score in R4 like you did in R2. Anyway, good luck. I’m happy either way.
