Well I don't think there will be -58 required to win, or -22 to make the cut this week - a somewhat tougher test.....
I opened with a bogey free -8, and followed up with -7 (disappointing to have two bogeys though)
Happy with -15 at the cut - there are so many opportunities to blow up and have a disaster round here....
And did enjoy playing 187's again - much more touch required than just blasting putts at the hole on the slower speeds....

Opened up with a -9 then followed up with an -8. Wanted -20 at the cut but the 2 bogeys and one double cost me that. Pretty happy with how the first 2 rounds have gone bar two poor shots.
Sitting back to watch everybody else now.

-18 halfway but mediocre rds 3 and 4. Tough challenge but its possible to score well if you stay focused. Had one yellow pin, only thing that maybe couldve been better.

It is what I thought it is. Just something about it has me play my worst. Seems every shot is in my club dead zone where nothing works as far as getting close.

Awful -28 made more awful by the fact that my first round was -2 so I'm almost certainly going to miss the cut (only reason I even think I stand an outside chance is after seeing the PS4 scores on twitch and how everybody else was struggling in R1)... Very frustrating course in terms of approaches, several pins you really don't have a chance to get close to without a miracle. Lovely looking course but that aspect was overkill for me. And did enjoy playing 187's again - much more touch required than just blasting putts at the hole on the slower speeds....
Didn't make a difference for me, I was hitting firm putts same as always. In the end my putting stats were short 100%, medium 100% and long 31% over the 4 rounds, bit worse than normal for me but still by far the best part of my game. It's literally the only positive from an otherwise catastrophic week lol

Round 1 in the books. -10. Short game killed me again. (2) missed 8 footers and failed to get up and in from inside 12 yards twice somehow.
Good to see very fast greens again. And to play a course with some slope on the greens. Much more fun.

Another thanks for coming tournament for me. Took a trip to "fast" city and was +2 thru 6 holes.
Played last 12 holes at -8 to what I assume makes the cut.
Had a nice 3 foot miss on 18 to finish up the torture that was round 2.
Good luck to all still playing!

A very casual round 1 in the books this Christmas week. Sure it won’t be on top, but know there were quite a few strokes I left out there to grab in the next 3 rounds. Good luck to all, hope everyone has a very merry Christmas.

In with -9 R1... was only -2 at the turn and had and incredible lie of a putt on 18 to stop me short of a tie for the genuine R1 lead so far...
A good score is out there for someone, no doubt, but don’t go missing fairways.
Good luck folks, and have a belting Christmas.

Is Christmas coming up, or is it actually Halloween season? Two rounds and done after a very frightful performance.
I know there are penalties for quitting a tournament and I really shouldn't willingly take a double strike, but damnit, I considered it. After walking off the 11th green, I was +6 for the opening round. Next 20 holes I was -10 and easily could have been better, so there really isn't a shortage of scoring opportunities if you keep it in play. 72 and 68 for the MC.
There's a lot of room for creativity in attacking pins on some of these holes. Some of those holes will still play long, and that rough is a killer, but it was gratifying finding the slope on some of those greens.

Pretty grim start for me not making my first birdie until hole #7.Managed to salvage -7 for the round despite only 72% gir(which turned out to be the most I hit any round ) and only 11% long putts made.I got lucky with a couple chip ins for birds. Round 2 was worse! stat wise thanks to some brutal tempo.Only 66% gir.I just couldn't find that razor thin line for me between fast and slow.Made a few long putts but unfortunately most were for pars.Thinking -12 may be close to the cut I'm on pace (barely) heading to the short 15th.My tee shot hits above the rocks in the rough but defies physics and pops backwards landing on the rocks ending up down in the bunker right against the wall Not sure how I'm going to get the ball over it I try anyways and move the ball 5 inches .I take another whack and this one flies over the green all leading to a double and drops me to -2.Bird on 16 and a bird on 18 for an abysmal -4 and joining The Dangler hoping most of the field is too busy with Christmas to play this event. Round 3 same crap with -6 despite hitting all fw and only 66% gir. Round 4 shot -9 doubtful it will matter though. I did enjoy the challenge of the course but just wasn't near good enough with my tempo to compete yet again. Merry Christmas everyone .Big lump of coal this week for me .
