-4 -6 for a missed cut probably .... swing was awful and couldn't even get a straight feedback line putting!! Throw in a few Sunday night very fast downswings and that's your lot for this week hahaha I know itโs early bro but I finished -18 at the cut itโs a fairly straightforward course however found some phantom breaks

Well guess I gotta practice this one now. If I get any scores in it will be late on Wednesday or Thursday, if at all.

Putting woes on par 5s specifically continue, as I lipped out a 6 footer for birdie on 6. Missed a 14 foot birdie on 16 too which didn't look like it should have been very difficult.
Pushed it a bit right on 13 and ended up hitting the tree on my second shot but saved par. Had a bunch of long-ish putts that I put within a foot, including one that was 3 inches short on 15, can't really complain about not making any individually but I'm a bit disappointed I didn't at least make one or two. Missed a 13 foot birdie on 17. Ended up with a 64 in round 3.
Putting on par 5s got even worse in the fourth round. Missed a 9 foot birdie on 2, left the subsequent chip short, missed a 9 foot bogey, finished with a double bogey. Somehow had a very fast downswing on my approach on 3. Lipped out a 4 foot birdie on 6, by my count that's about a dozen strokes I've lost by bad putting on just the par 5s; I've had some lousy putts elsewhere but overall my putting was MUCH better on par 3s and 4s. Finally got back to even par on 7. Missed a lot of greens in the 4th round, most of which I couldn't tell from my swing how they ended up so far off. Then had a lob wedge flop on 11 (supposedly 24 yards) into a 15-ish mph headwind go 32 yards, missed the birdie putt by 7 inches. Lipped out an 8 foot putt on 12. Put another flop 19 feet long on 13. Sent a chip 15 feet long on the 16th, and missed another birdie on another par 5 by 6 inches. Was 7 inches from holing out for eagle on 18.
After the first two rounds I thought I might have a chance at top 10 but I'm not even going to be close. Finished at -28 for the tournament, if I could putt I'd have been at like -45.

-7, -9 for -16 thru 2. I think the cut will be similar to last week, -10 or -11.
I started off really slow. Sitting on the 15th green in round 1 I was -4 and facing a 22 foot putt for par after a poor bunker shot which came after a poor approach. The common theme was "poor". At that point I was hoping to somehow finish -4, assuming I was just about to make bogey and then thought maybe I can steal 1 shot back on the last 3 holes with one of them being a par 5. I hadn't made a damn thing all round, with basically birdies only on par 5's where I had short putts. The 22 footer was a double breaker but by some miracle I holed it. Probably because I kind of didn't care, I'd already written off the round and was just trying to finish. Next hole was a par 5, got my birdie as I was supposed to, and kept my suddenly found good mojo going into 17 & 18, birdied them both. 18's tough by the way...it was noticeably easier in R1 where the wind allowed you to carry to the left. R2 it's my only bogey in the first 36 thanks to a tee shot in the right rough.
So I finished R1 holing a 22 footer for par and then 3 straight birdies. I started R2 shortly thereafter and birdied 1-4 and #6. That's a stolen par followed by 8 birdies in 9 holes. Funny how fast things can change. The rest of the round was solid as well, tightened up both my swing and my calculations and despite the bogey on 18 was quite happy to be at -16 thru 2. It'll definitely make the cut. Outside shot at another top 10. We'll see.
Seems the conditions are identical each round? Is this literally the same as the Web.com event? Not a big deal, just an interesting turn of events. Kind of wasted my 1 practice round haha.

-10 after 2. Of course I shot -16 in my irrelevant 3rd and 4th round. Back to back missed cuts for the first time in my digital golfing career. This season hasn't gone how I pictured it in anyway, shape, or form. Enough is enough. The comeback begins next week at the highly annoying Olafsen Skerries.

Trying a new type of swing that isn't so much John Daly wild and I am seeing some good things happening. Still missing some tempo, especially at the top with a slew of slows that leave me 20 footers. Putting was decent, missed a few I probably should have made but made the cut with -15.
Looking to finish strong for a top 10 chance!

Pretty trashy round 3 of -7 where I missed 3 putts < 10 ft, 2 for bogies and one for my first non-birdie on a par 5 for the week. I played the third round almost immediately after getting home from the vet's office where I had to put a pet down this may have been a poor strategy, but it seemed like a good distraction at the time. On the bright side, my total of -23 thru 3 is somehow just a shot out of being T-10. Can definitely tell it's a smaller field this week thanks to the holiday, I feel like I've left a small mountain of strokes out there and still in conversation for a top 10. I'll play R4 either tonight or tomorrow morning to attempt what would totally feel like a stolen top 10.
