Anyone played/designed in Perfect Golf? Does it do anything better than or that TGC19 doesn't do? Mutiny!

I just hope they bring back the bunkers from Tgc 2. The current iteration looks substantially worse. Bring back the bunker lips! They make a huge difference. Have you designed with the Boreal theme? You get all the bunker lip you asked for, and lots more!

Haha. Too much lip. Nasty looking. Don’t get how they arrived at that one. Geez. I was looking at old pictures of my courses and the bunkers look 10x better. Way sharper and more defined. I just hope they bring back the bunkers from Tgc 2. The current iteration looks substantially worse. Bring back the bunker lips! They make a huge difference. Have you designed with the Boreal theme? Not my best oratory ... I blame Crown Royal Apple ... but, you get the gest ... Damn, I thought you had actually solved the problem. That method is widely known equally as tedious and makes things very hard when you've got some real curves in your fairways. I can use my small heavy rough surface brush and probably get a similar result in half the time.

You can avoid play testing by moving your cursor over another green complex so the grid on the alternate complex displays... Somehow that resets the grid on the sculpted green, so you can go back to it and the grid is correct. At least this works on the Xbox interface, and it also works when you undo a sculpt command and want the grid back to normal? Every day is a school day.

Just to be clear @ddawg, I'm using splines all the time now (with the exception of a few things), so I know how to use them. We just have totally different ways of designing. You cringe at my multiplanting, and I cringe at your pace. But we both go with what works for us and when we are at our best, we can both put out some pretty neat courses.

A cross between desert & delta themes. Kind of desert with trees.
High links rough and revetting for bunkers.
Edge snap for retaining walls.
More clubhouses.
Increase character limit for course names.

Before finding TGC, I hadn't dabbled in a designer since Tiger '99. One thing I loved about that designer was the feature where you could freehand draw a selection area then raise and lower everything within that outline. That way you could take a topographical approach to contouring. I'd like to see that option. You can choose your line definition, draw an outline, then raise/lower/flatten as you see fit.
I've also thought splines for walls, bridges, and fences would be nice.
Also, since they've added a second surface to splines, it would be nice to have the option for a third surface. That way you could draw your green, select fairway as a second surface for an apron, then select rough as a third to have an edge for the second surface. I know there are ways around it, but it would be a nice time-saver for those of us who only get 4-5 hours max per week in the designer.

Love to see if I dropped a body of water at 25ft elevation (as an example) I could then sculpting with whatever tool I decided to use and slightly dropping the terrain and the water would move with those edits. This would eliminate having to stagger bodies of water and using waterfalls over and over.
If you has a stream of running water...even the sound of being near it would be kind of cool.
Maybe add a few new themes, get rid of one or two we have. Winter for one.
Get the freaking plants off the tree slider!! HUGE ONE for me.
Other adds I would like were already mentioned.

Last time I tried getting HB's attention they started deleting my posts. I'm not the pessimistic type, but I have little confidence in them so I don't even bother anymore. Might as well enjoy a somewhat-working designer now while we have it, because there is no guarantee it will be available or worth designing in in future iterations. You're lucky, some of us got banned.

I also wish that you could select multiple spline points at once so you can delete a section of them or move an entire green/fairway/bunker.

Remember the bug in TGC2 where you could use a two button combo to switch club sets during a round? Obviously they fixed it pretty quick, but, it was clearly a deliberately added feature that the game developers used for play-testing the game and they forgot to remove it for game release.
Can we have that for the designer please?
And I want one simple addition to the course objects - A selection of single house bricks, fully rotatable, sizeable, moveable and snappable. Our own TGC Lego set, if you will. Just think what people could create with them. . .

I also wish that you could select multiple spline points at once so you can delete a section of them or move an entire green/fairway/bunker. Oh man, this! So many times I've wanted to just pick a whole fairway or green up and rotate it, or scale it, or only delete a portion of it, etc. We already have multi-select, scale, rotate, and area delete available in the game, wouldn't think it would be that difficult to make spline points fall under that umbrella.
