There is odd sense of familiarity to this short little link of islands, lost on a unknown coastline, off the Oceanside.
This delta themed course is 6662 yards from the tips. The Greens are medium fast, with a normal firmness. The Fairways are firm, but not real firm.
This course is rumored to be built off an old cattle ranch slaughterhouse. The skulls are believed to be reminisce of the hundreds of cattle that still haunt golfers today.
The spirits of the creatures are said by local club members, to have had a horn shoved up their backside, or letting out a eerie moo, thus causing an errand shot at the most compromising part of the swing.
While, low scores can be had at the "Isles of Delirium Golf Club", When the winds pickup, the course will gore you repeatedly. Thusly living up to its name.
Enjoy as always.

I see you are as much of a fan of the short hole as I am. Nice

Played the Tour version last night - kickass course as always D! Challenging as hell, fun, and pretty to look at to boot. Trifecta. Keep up the great work!

Great to have DDawg back designing top quality courses in 2019.
I was suitably "gored" after playing the tour version in medium high winds from the tips using master clubs making this relatively short course a tough but very enjoyable challenge.
Loved the beach area's, rocks & planting & all the holes look & feel unique.
Particularly liked the par 3's especially #3 & #12.
Well worth a round folks... as usual - you won't be disappointed.

Thank you for the kind words ... Glad you are enjoying it ... we find it fun for hi-stake skins games ... several holes can really ruin your day ...

Finally had a chance to give this one a play last night. Lots of good holes here. Plenty of eye candy, too. I especially thought the tee markers all the way back were a cool touch.
Played in a 9-13 mph breeze, which is testing for my skill level. To make matters worse, I was getting non-stop fast and very fast downswings, and with the amount of water on this course, that spelled doom for any chance of posting a decent number. No matter, it didn't diminish my experience at all. I thought the par 5s were particularly well done, good variety in elevation changes and distances. I ended up with a number of awkward yardages for third shots and that forked my score by only getting (I think) 1 birdie on them.
The par 4s are also plenty good. Especially 14, I think it was, and maybe 10 as well (downhill short hole like 315 but with a nice wide fairway to allow you to decide how much to bite off).
If I had a critique, I think the par 3s were all maybe a little too similar...island greens with no real bailout area or water on 3 of the sides. One of these type holes would probably have been enough considering all the variety elsewhere in the course.
I bet this one will get some tour looks because I could see it being a bear for good players with some set-up changes. Glad I played the regular version!
Many improvements in detail and subtlety of shaping for this designer over the years and I think tracking through his portfolio would show that he keeps getting better with each release.
