Welcome to week 5 of the web.com and especially welcome to new web.com members that have been promoted here from last weeks promotional event. This week brings us the first original 2019 course of the season, while we have not seen the last of the ports, from now on, we will be seeing many more courses deigned for 2019. This weeks designer texasdad is a designer I have always admired, I watched as each course he published got better and better, watched as he learned from his little mistakes, and as soon as he published a tour worthy course, I pounced, and now this is his third course to be used on the web. So I hope everyone enjoys, I hope I play better than I have been recently, have fun all.

After a T27 in the last event my best of the season so far... Have shot - 18(-9 in each round) to start this week should easily make the cut. Hopefully finish week with a couple more rounds like that.

I limp into this week's event not really sure where I belong on TGC Tours. I missed the cut in week 1, made the next couple, then missed again in week 4, so I'm only playing in 50% of the weekend rounds so far. I really want to turn that trend around, so hopefully this week will be better. My records are also falling pretty far behind in the "Rival Watch" ticker on my stream, so I need to find my game! See you on the course!

Hang in there Eric you belong. We both made it to the web in the wire in qschool so I like to compare my scores to yours when top 25 is out of the equation. I might miss my first cut this week. Started with a decent -6 in round 1, but then made an ugly bogey on the first par 5 and chased it the entire round. Got a very slow tempo on a back par 5 and got an OB. Limped in with a disappointing +2 for the round and sitting -4 at the cut. Round 2 does play tougher as usual with some tricky pins so a word of advise, don't try and be a hero. Good luck.

I just can't do anything right lately, I better start playing more throughout the week. The virtual yips, is it a thing?

Looks like I narrowly avoided a fifth demotion mark last week. Perhaps I'll get a W against VctryLnSprts or Tenahka before I'm put out to CC-Pro pasture.

Finished off with -9 -2 for a -27 total .... 4th round is brutal though I should've scored better ... thinking that's enough for a top 10 and a promotion so have fun for the rest of the season guys and maybe I'll see some of you again soon 😀

For the first time in a couple of weeks, I hit the ball well, and I needed to as I made some horrendous shot choices. I went bogey free in the first round with -7 but left a few out there, strangely enough, happy to say that as the last couple of weeks, I have not been giving myself chances at all. Round two was similar to the first, hitting it well but at times leaving myself nightmare putts, this time though could not recover all of them and dropped two shots. I took most of my chances this round though and a chip in eagle on the last could be a cut saver, -8 for round two. No idea where the cut line will be, plenty of scoring chances out there but a bad shot, unlucky bounce, can bring trouble. What ever happens, happy with my opening two rounds, my last four round before this week were a combined -7, so a big improvement, good luck all.

Did something unusual and played my third round as none of the people I play live with at night were on. I blow a big chance to put serious pressure at the top of the leaderboard, missed some easy putts, I mean straight five and six footers, lipped out twice for eagle and still managed-10. Still, more than happy with that, someone just popped in chat so round four has to wait.

Another -12 to start a tournament, really happy of course. Didn't get into alot of trouble until i missed 4 out of 5 GIR's on the last 5 holes. Some of those holes were difficult but on the last hole (par 5) i just made a silly mistake by going for the green and coming short on the steep hill. Then after a bad flop and bad chip thank got the putt for par dropped. Just makes me remember not go for something if it's not possible So apart from that hole a really good start. Course is nice, you can really attack with the soft greens.

What can I say about that last round, with the hurricane force winds, the plan was to play as safe as possible, avoid getting in the trouble and take what ever chances came my way. I did that and then some. I played the wind better than I could have ever hoped, four solid birdies on the front nine. It was when I chipped in for eagle on 10, that I started to get the feeling that this could be good, three more birdies followed with out ever putting myself in danger, could have had one or two more but not going to worry about that, a fantastic eagle on the last to finish on -11, easily the best I have played this season and what I hope could be a top 10 with -36 for the event.if the the cut is what I hope it is. With so many good players still to play, and birdies there for the taking, I really don’t know what the cut line will be.
