-7 thru 2. Missed a lot of fairways which I actually enjoyed...tired of seeing everyone's FIRs at 95%. Missed some easier putts though. A few bogeys but no disaster holes. Cut watching!

-1 -8
-9 at the cut which should be enough after the wind in round 1.
Bogied the first hole of the tournament but played really well to get to -3 after making some great up and downs. Hit my approach on 18 into the water and got a double on the last hole to finish -1 after playing really well.
Played consistently well in round 2 and was -9 after 15 but bogied 16 and 18 to finish -8. The 18th has to be one of the hardest finishing holes of any course. Every shot is scary!
Good luck to everyone and thanks to Chris for designing, loved the challenge.

Played well after my terrible showing last week... Managed to stay bogey free in that windy round 1 and shot -5... My smooth swing continued in round 2 but couldn't get much close enough to the pin to have a huge round.. Shot -6... Im sitting -11 after two and I feel like that should make the cut.. Tough challenging course.. Nice playing Sir!! I played all four rounds last night finishing on -13 or something, only to discover I’m playing the other one this week. 🤠Those winds were really tough though, I kept taking one step forward and then two, sometimes three steps back!! Glad I get another crack at it this week but my form is up and down more than a male porn stars main asset!!

Looks like you joined the dark side by joining the top 50 elitists, your training is complete.

This may be the best course all year. No idea how this is the minor PGA event. Was just inside the Top 50 in FedEx but would have loved if this was the regular event as this is what I have been asking for. I did play Round 1 yesterday before not knowing where I would be and managed a -5. Par is a great score on many holes, play smart, and birdies are few and far between. We need more like this Dale coruler2 1x per month. Please!

Thanks for enjoying it Adam, kind of reminds me of a documentary I saw about Jack Nicklaus saying he could count out half the field at The Open because they were the ones moaning before the event even started about the conditions. Seems as though people will love or hate it this week. Already had Canuck say in his stream it's the worst course he's ever played in 5 seasons of TGC Tours. High praise indeed.

Wow! 1st two rounds -5 total, brutal wind with pars on most of the holes being a good score in the extreme winds and narrow fairways. Then for fun I went and played the "Big Boys" event and practically birdied every hole! Why weren't these two course (and conditions) switched this week??? I actually really liked the tough conditions, but probably going to be missed cut #3 in a row for me! Enjoy!

Tough... very tough in those winds, and you really had to carve a score out. Was furious with a 3 putt bogey but the round was tense and rewarding. More like this for me.

Meh -6 to follow......that'll be cut watching at best.... Remember 50 at the CJ Cup invite. Should only see around 90 play this event. Is there still a cut when the field is shortened?

We need more like this Dale coruler2 1x per month. Please! The problem is, not many designers complete courses like this. Not a ton of appeal in making a course that only 5% of players can score on. I've long thought about doing a super tough course...but the payoff for months of hard work seems to be 95% of people saying your course is crap. No thanks. I enjoyed the week too, but I doubt we have more than 3 or 4 of these courses floating around out there that don't look/play like garbage. I'd much rather see some GOOD courses get fitted with new tees/pins than see us playing architectural junk (which is what is needed to pose a huge challenge most times).

Should be a great design contest then. I know we had a US Open one Season 1 or 2 to create the toughest but fairest course you could design. We had some real doozies. Others were then used for future events. Good times!
