Not sure what the hate for this course is all about. The best course so far in my 4 weeks of my tgctours career imo. Just finished round 1. Missed 4 putts inside 10 feet and parred a reachable par 5 to prevent me from having any sniff of a top 3 finish. But the course is pretty solid.

Finished up at 38 under. Should be good enough for a top 10 hopefully. Another below average putting week has me scratching my head.
Like I said before. Course was good. And my favorite pin location so far. Round 4. Hole #6 I think. Where it was back middle up on a plateau. Everyone is so dirty good with a wedge in their hands on this tour. Would love to see more pins like this going forward on short par 4's so it's not a gimmie birdie on low/medium wind like it is for most here.

-31 for what feels like should be in the 20's somewhere once everyone's finished up. The first rounds low wind and easy pin positions means a low score can be made there, definitely tougher going in the later rounds.

Good tournament in the end and really liked the course and setup. Streaky scoring on my end. I had 10+ shot swings from one round to the next. TWICE! Had my first max distance putt come up short (89 feet, 5 feet uphill, with a 173 foot putter), and that is all on me for trying to be greedy, so no whining or crying about the 100 foot chip rule that certain ( Brighttail ) folks like to harp on. -8 -14 -3 -13 for -38 overall. Probably will be one of my better finishes of the year for which I thank the smaller field. See ya next week!

Holy Moley. I’ve been invited to join you cheaters, ... I mean hot shots in this event. I had already played the first two rounds of the Franklin Templeton and was firmly in the top 10 ( without you hot dogs).
I won’t disturb any leaderboards here. Haven’t played yet. Just hoping not to finish 50th but is a real possibility.
Anyways, I’m honored!

I tried to be cute and land on the top of the shelf, but I hit right into it, it went sideways and back down the hill to the left. Before I even hit it I said to myself that "I know better than to try this."
But I did it anyways.

But I did it anyways. Same happened to me, but I wouldn't say that I was trying anything crazy. It was well within reach, and I hit a shot that rolled about a foot away from being on that top tier, but was unable to even get the subsequent putt up to the correct level. That was a bit of a bummer...but it is what it is, walked off the hole with a 6 because the game didn't physically allow me to putt it hard enough.
Is this the part where I ask for me refund?

Is this the part where I ask for me refund? I did this also. Hit a perfect good shot that had plenty of legs but was about 6 inches from staying up. Left me something like an 80 foot putt 4 feet up. Stupid green. Fortunately I two putted, otherwise something would’ve got broked.

Pfffttt...I eagled that hole! 😁😁
Got lucky and me ball stayed up. However, that was the only GOOD thing I did in 4 rounds. 😭😭
I think I need to practice the course more before just playing and calling it good. Going to turn into a "watcher". 😏😏
Edit: Hope I stay in the Top-50 FedEx for the WGC, but it ain't looking good. 😳😳
Edit 2: I say practice more because there is certainly far more strategy than just blasting driver on every hole. Much akin to real golf. With solid strategy this week, I feel I could've gotten it to 30-something under.

St. Louis CC (note, scroll down and reference the caption of hole 15) I doubt anyone would’ve complained had you left out the OB between holes. Just seemed very unfair on that 15th - the par5 - pin 3? I’m not saying I don’t appreciate the artistic nature just saying that stuff is very frustrating especially when it’s a 5 foot rise if you have to putt.

My bad this week, really should of paid more attention looking at others stats this week. The amount of greens i attacked the hole on and ended up missing by a couple of feet and rolling off the green leaving myself a 6yd chip or something similar was ridiculous but due to the inaccuracy of the green speeds in rd 1 n r2 i had to try and stiff it as close as i could to get half a score. That pin on 15 shafted me 😂. I hit a great lofted approach after a bomb off the tee and it pitched into the 4ft slope and took off. 2nd bounce next to hole and ended up bouncing ob. Like i said in earlier threads i enjoyed the course on default set greens but just too many putts that lie causing you to second guess how you play them. I played a course where the greens are as true as they get last night and set it to fast and low and behold. Exactly the same!!!! Oh well on to next week. Well played all!!!
