Yep, pronounced just like you think. Some say it's because of the amount of birdies that have been denied here, but history tells us that this name came long before the the golf course, named by the aboriginal cave dwellers. The course is closed for the season but I'm hoping for an early thaw.
Working around cliffs and rocky terrain makes this is a new type of build for me. But I have laid some foundations that I'm happy enough with to start a wip. Please share your comments, I'm not trying to have another course denied.
Some flyovers.. I cut the par 5 short because it's still empty back there. However the goal of green visible from tee was accomplished. The green is very unforgiving though and putting legends will be made here
It'll be hard to best hole 2 and it will likely one of the signature holes. Very straightforward yet has blowup potential. Although I try to put 18 Sig holes together per course of course

Some new caps. There is a beta floating around now if you're interested.. let me know. I tend to use the most quaint scenery possible while asking the most demanding shot. This par 3 hole will likely be the index 1. Allz I gotz ta say is USE THE CONTOURS. Speaking of, the next is a screenshot of my ball trundling on down after a chip went long. If you weren't aware I was in the grand canyon, you are now. Talking about lighting, I had a time with this one. A very low sun and the self constructed canyon meant I could literally raise or lower parts of the rim to cast or eliminate shadows. The par 3 is a good example, the tee box is in shadow but the good stuff has that sheen. The 2nd screenshot also shows the modified rim.

Use the CONTOURS bro.
A good summary of the green design. You'll love it or hate it, But there's no flat ground in a canyon. Best to just let the slopes do the work for you, like so
