-7 -3 -11 -6 for a -27 total. Battled the tempo all the way through, think I must have had every combination possible.
May or may not make the cut ? Course was nice but felt a bit unfair in parts, maybe just me though.
And, I would be delighted not to see another sharp dogleg with a long carry over water again this season.

Looks like round 2 was pretty tough on most. I think I was even or +1 at the turn and felt good about getting under par on the back, but doubled the 11th (hate that hole) was around +4, got it back to +1 then the 18th happened. It was playing around 250 iirc and I only had 2 wood and the hybrid that goes 216, lofted 2 wood, of course a fast swing hits it over into the water, tried the hybrid and ended short on the water, laying on a small patch of land in the middle of the water and end up with a 7. Probably my worst hole this season. My fault for not having a club for it.

Solid -6 start but followed with a hang on for your life -1 in round 2 for -7 overall at the cutline. Seeing that round 2 was brutal for most I think that's safe to make the cut. Every hole is a double bogey waiting to happen if you get careless. 1 iron was my best friend tonight.

I'm not getting the 2 wood out becouse it's very needed at this course for me. Then I have the 5 wood at about 227. So the 18th will always be difficult depending on the wind also. The question is should you change your clubs for one hole?

Wow, some CRAZY things happened to me in round 2. I was playing not so well until out of nowhere i holed out a SW.
After that i thought my luck would have ran out but on 18 i think i played my weirdest hole ever. i don't think it's possible to be more lucky. I hit my worst shot of the season and my only slow upswing of the whole round, just see what happened after that:

I would argue that this course with certain wind directions is harder than Bedes. The R2 setup was nutty for this week. Kicked my ass to the tune of +4, which followed my opening round of -6 to miss my first cut at -2. Haven't shot worse than a 67 on a round so far in the Web so R2 was quite shocking. My swing wasn't great, seemed like every time I had too much power on a chip I caught a down slope or a fast through swing it was when there was water left. All good though, can't make every cut I suppose.

Well...its definitely not a relaxing round on this course!
Started birdie birdie. Then got a ridiculous vf off the drive on 4 that ended in the water and cost me a double. Managed to put that one behind me and finish -4.
Then played some of my best golf to date in the 2nd round finishing -7. Could've been a bit better too considering my driving accuracy was 42.9% for the round lol. Really had to stay patient.
I still wont be in contentin to win but with a good run in rounds 3 and 4 maybe crack top 15.

I knew when we were setting up the conditions that this course would play tough, especially round two but was not expecting it to play as tough as it did. Ever since tgc1, there are certain guidelines set regarding the difficulty and I try to follow them as much as possible, the idea being that all aspects of the game need to be tested, that players need master different setups if they want to move up through the tours. It may seem like we are playing high winds every week but we have had just one very high wind setup over the first four weeks, the windy days, the tougher days are the ones that stick in someone’s memory. We do have a couple of weeks coming soon where the wind never goes above medium, but we also have another very high setup on the way as well. I am not trying to be a dick with these settings, just trying to vary things and sometimes bringing that challenge that I have been asked to bring. I am thinking about adding the odd random wind day from time to time to see how that goes. I just wanted to let you guys know, I am reading the posts, watching some of the streams to see how you are getting on, and using this to plan future setups.

Point is that it's still more or less the same for everyone. I don't see the problem in a course playing hard one day and easy another. It can be the same in real life. Sometimes -8 is a good score, next day -4 might be just as good.

Round 3: Just one of those damn round where almost no putt may drop...we all know them. - 6. Hopefully my luck hasn't completely run out cause I'll need it in the last round.

Even though I haven't made a cut yet, I don't think any of the courses or setups have been too difficult. You're doing a great job and I (and I'm sure most others) really appreciate it!

Shot -2 round 1 with a double, triple, and 30 putts...-3 round 3 with another double late. Hit it great, but I kept getting those Xbox specials (very fast downswing) twice a round. Unfortunately, it happened on back to back tee shots on 16. BS

-7 first round, nervous to play round two hearing about the wind? Anyone wish they would have changed clubs for second round?
