I’m currently in CC-A division and I know you need to use master clubs to get positive marks to move up, but can I use tour clubs to get rid of a negative mark?

If you are in CC-A, you may play either master or pro clubs and receive or clear marks. Once you are promoted to Web, you can't use pro anymore. That's the way I understand it.

As I understand it you can play with masters or pro clubs to get promoted from CC-A. Then to play in Web tour you use masters only, but you use pro clubs you get withdrawn and 2 demotion marks. You have to complete 3 tournaments to be put back in CC-A .
Don't think any of this will be happening to me for a little while yet. Still floundering around in E

OLD RULE (weeks 1-4): Players in CC-A can clear demotion marks with Pro Clubs or Beginner Clubs, but cannot earn promotion marks.
NEW RULE (eff. week 5): Players can clear demotion marks and earn promotion marks with Pro or Master Clubs. Beginner Clubs disqualified.
The idea behind allowing Pro Clubs to earn promotion marks is to prevent highly skilled players from sticking around in CC-A.

I'm confused about which club I'm going to use this week. Running the risk of winning a relegation mark with MASTER? Or use the PRO and fight to get in the 20? With master I got sick this week. 116th placed 30th placed using MASTER

With master I got sick this week. 116th placed 30th placed using MASTER We're in the same boat- I know I'm good enough to make top 20 Masters (and stay in the Top 70) each week... but there's no way I can consistently place top 20 using Masters. I'm dropping to Pro... Ive been about 3-4 strokes better per round with Pro, hopefully that's enough to work my way back up.

If you're interested in earning a promotion, then use the clubs with which you score best.
There's no longer an inherent benefit to use Master in CC-A.

Looks like the CC-A leaderboard is still operating under the master only promo marks based on what the projected marks are showing. Doyley - can you confirm?

Status quo for CC-A this week.
