I don't know Tim at all but it's never nice to lose somebody in the community, especially to something like cancer. Hope his nearest and dearest are all coping.

Same here, being new this year to this community I'm still getting know and recognize names.
I hope the best for his family and friends.

R.I.P. Tim
That's sad news, I remember him from the old TW forums.

Awwww man, that's such sad news. Feel for his family.
Didn't know him personally - but he was always a positive & popular poster - TGCT has lost one of the good ones. Would be great to have a memorial tourny, perhaps tied up with a fundraiser for cancer research.

Hello,
We here at HB Studios were sad to hear the news of Tim Scott’s (DivotMaker) passing last week. He has had a presence on these forums for a very long time and contributed much of his free time dedicated to The Golf Club and this community. I have personally had many conversations with Tim about the product and his passion for its success was hard to deny. He was a great advocate for the game while also providing well-articulated constructive feedback. In honor of everything he has done for this community and the feedback and great conversations he has been a part of. We will be hosting a Tim Scott Memorial Tournament on all official societies this weekend, November 24th and 25th. I hope that you will be able to take the time to participate in this event which we believe to be held on one of his favorite courses in TGC2019.
Thanks Shaun W.

Didn't know him personally outside of a few XBL messages. Recall seeing his name way back in the TW days so I know he was veteran VG hacker like me and others.
RIP, great idea for the tourney.

I told Shawn he should make one of tournies no assists. Tim loved TST.
I can just hear him b%&ing that they made his memorial tournament with aids on! LOL.

Sorry to hear about Mr. Scott.
I just started TGCTours when he mentioned he would have to take a break due to the cancer coming back. I also remembered he always commented when players were b%&ing, pretty much telling them to have fun Also his avatar was awesome, old school football player.
RIP Mr. Scott and well wishes to his family

Don't play much anymore, nor do I visit and read the forums as often as I once did, but I do remember the prolific input Divotmaker had over the years I knew of him. RIP. sucks to die so young.
