Tim lost his battle with cancer. Thanks to JC for posting the link below on the HB forums.I had a feeling he might have passed . Had not heard from him in a while or seen him on Xbox. Last I heard from him he was going back in for chemo.i had a bad feeling. m.legacy.com/obituaries/houstonchronicle/obituary.aspx?n=&pid=190703312&referrer=0&preview=TrueI have known Tim for a long time going back to the Tiger forums. Lost a good friend and playing partner. He always had great input for simulation golf and was a hell of a player even when fighting cancer. Sim golf has lost a great advocate and more importantly we lost a great person. Tim was solid as they get. No bullshit with Tim. He will be missed. RIP. Be nice if TGC tours honored him by naming a week of tournaments after him.

RIP Tim, I didnโt know him personally but have seen his contribution to the forum etc. I think itโs a great idea regarding a memorial tourney. Maybe a major?

What's really sad is my last message to him on Xbl was " Mkn sure you are alive" on Nov 8th. Tim always was blunt so I thought he would have liked that. He never got to read it.

I agree with the memorial. Maybe a memorial week where all tournaments are in his honor? Always saw him in the forums, the sim golf community lost a major advocate. RIP Tim.

Sorry to hear about this, I personally didn't know Tim but like many will recognise his name on the forums. I think it would be a nice touch to have a tournament named after him on the TGC Tours.

RIP. A good guy.
I last spoke to him in mid August, he was always first to deflect any concern and ask about how I was.

Indeed, very sad news. Had little to do with Tin directly, but he was always a regular contributor and a respected voice. RIP Tim ๐

Sad to hear the news.
His alias is a classic name for golf video games. Let there be only one DivotMaker.

Sad to hear the news. His alias is a classic name for golf video games. Let there be only one DivotMaker. I concur. Admin at TGCT should find a way to "retire" this name. Also, a tournament in his name would be perfect. Great honor to have. Wonderful legacy write up for him. 60 years old. Just not right at all.
