I realize that the sculpting tools we have don't really allow us to make good looking cliffs. Still, anyone know of a course I could check out where a valiant effort was made that actually looks nice? I need to make this work

There's actually 2 brushes that make excellent cliffs. I don't know of a course off the top of my head, but was showing VctryLnSprts in one of his streams last week.

Part of the problem is, the designer cannot make straight 90-degree vertical cliffs. But griff is right, there are a couple of brushes that work well. One that I like is one of the odd-looking long and narrow brushes but with a sharper edge than the others. It'll give you a nice random looking cliff with sharp edges. I forget which page it's on.
