PGA ideal tour size bumped up 5 to 130. Seeing how the leaderboard is shaking up - the guys in 6-10 slots would have no issues competing on PGA so we can top it up a bit more. Any reason why the CC-Am tour ideal size is only 140 instead of matching that of the CC-Pro tours? The CC-Am tours backfill much faster than CC-Pro due to Q-School. They'll even out fairly quickly.

Just a question on this. Does this not seem to say that more people are getting demoted than there are getting promoted? I.e. it's a lot easier to go down than it is up. If so, do the promotion rules need to be adjusted slightly to even this out? Or is this all because of newcomers being placed into already filled, lower divisions, perhaps where the majority are not good enough to get to the higher divisions? Or have the ideal division sizes been changed where you may be trying to get more into the higher tours? Just wondering. No one will get demoted or go down. The reason those divisions are negative numbers is because people that did their Q school may have used a different set of clubs that they use in the regular tour, so that, or just plain out luck of the draw makes them move to a different division after the fact, I think.
Thank you, Doyley , I had not seen that results thing before, from the first one. Must've missed it. After looking at that, it all makes perfect sense! Sorry maybe I should have been clearer. I'm not talking about promotion/demotion in this event as I know you can only get promoted. I mean in normal events through the season considering it seems the bottom divisions appear to have more players than what is recommended. Was wondering if there being more people in the lower divisions than recommended is a result of people getting demoted from the top divisions far easier than being promoted causing a netflow downwards or if there was another reason for this like newcomers getting into already filled, lower divisions from Q School, not just a speculative answer.

With the number of promotion spots available and the trickle down effect, I've estimated roughly 433 people will earn promotions from this event!!
Now, if only I could've scored better....

PGA + EURO + WEB = 67
Now I'm in Cca.
If I want a chance between the PGA / EURO / WEB, without making an account, I'll have to put myself in the top 67.
doing accounts, I need to see my final placement and eliminate those that are already between EURO / WEB and then all CCs in front of me.
I do not think I get the WEB with -32 ...
Not easy...

You'll probably get in to euro with that score.

Doyley will y'all be releasing projected cut-off scores to be promoted to each tour before the promo event ends or only the final numbers after the conclusion of the event?

Doyley will y'all be releasing projected cut-off scores to be promoted to each tour before the promo event ends or only the final numbers after the conclusion of the event? only final numbers - it's impossible to project cutlines without some serious coding. So we just release final results on Sunday night.

It's looking like -22 for Web from what I can see. Some -21's are currently in in on count back. Which is about right being as I ended on -20

So when do the results come out on Sunday? And if you are promoted does that start this week? Just curious as there is a chance i may not be able to play this week other than Sunday and not sure which tour to play then

Just curious as there is a chance i may not be able to play this week other than Sunday and not sure which tour to play then Saturday at midnight EST is the cutoff to play, so after that you'll see the final leaderboard. Likely won't find out "officially" your new tour til Sunday night, but you can just count and figure it out.

Looks like I am currently scraping into Web.tour by the plaque on my teeth with a -25.....this will be a relief from the CC grind with masters clubs. With these comments probably miss the Web now.........
My quick lookie look:
PGA -38 8th Euro -28 on c/b currently T72nd Web -24 on c/b currently T143th
So it looks like a CCC will promote to PGA - congrats (methinks as long as he doesn’t frequent the forum....)
Up to 5 CCD will jump to Euro.
...BUT the last minute lurkers (approx 5) do have a chance to change it.....including Doyley. I think he’ll need a -7/8 to get to Euro.....
Play well,

Play well, The way I'm seeing it -23 is safe for Web and some -22's will also get in, maybe even all of them. They need 73 players to top up the Pro Tours, so that means they need 73 Challenge Circuit players. If you do a CC leaderboard of Masters players 73rd is currently -21...
