Yeah, we're not going to debate that here, when it's been beaten to death just about everywhere else. Sorry.

So here we go, excluding beginner clubs from society events. Why am I not surprised. Shame on you all. Nobody is stopping you from creating your own event. Strap on the pro or masters and join this one - it should be fun. I play masters by choice and suck with them! But I'm having fun - and that's what we're all about here. You're going to find rules no matter where you go that you don't like, but you do have a choice regardless.

Seeding tournament #2 is underway. After this one, we'll have our official order for the ladder. I'll update the spreadsheet shortly.

Holyoke Links Rd 1: -8 Rd 2: -3 Total: -11 I had a nice first round with a -8 but I have no idea why my second round was not so nice, especially with the conditions being so much easier...

Nice shooting guys. I, myself, decided I would actually play the way I'm capable of and shot -3 and -10 for a -13 total. I'm not sure it makes a lick of difference in the order, but we'll see.

I hate Holyoake ... And my 1st round of -1 was only due to a fluke chip in on 18 for birdie.
I was straying the ball all over the shop to be fair, so got away with being under par

Better round 2 of 65 / -6, the course still doesn't like me but mid table will do me greatly

Are the seeding tournaments over? I couldn't remember when the 2nd tournament ended and I'm not home to look at the society.

I think the second one ended today. I've been out of pocket for a bit. Either way, I'm going to be updating the spreadsheet later tonight and I'll post the list here and let everyone know what happens next. We don't play again until 12/9.

So, here's The List. This is the ladder in order of the total scores of the seeding tournaments. The first regular ladder event starts tomorrow, 12/9. Let's assume that we all challenge the person above for this first week. What happens next is, we all just play our 2 rounds in the society and post scores here. You don't need to post a screenshot if you don't want to. I can see the scores in the society. If you like, you may play a match outside of the society. If you do this, please finish all 18 holes and post your scores here. I am keeping a running tab of total score. **I would love some more people, so please feel free to recruit as you like. This will be an ongoing competition without a set end date, so new players are always welcome. The only catch is, new players start at the bottom. Such is life in ladder play.
If you have questions, please let me know. The spreadsheet with rules, match results, and the current order of the ladder (The List) can be found HERE. Thanks!
