Well. That as disappointing. As hoosierjoe mentioned. The first 4 holes were tricky. Unlike joe I loved the greens. Finished a disappointing -4 for a -32 and a bogie in 18. Just glad I did not hit the water in the drive I was thinking I would get my first point. But no.

I only shot -2 on them for the whole tourney where I finished -31.

Hey, where's ezzinomilonga? Awfully quiet around here. Round 1 started on FIYA with three straight birdies. Extinguished quickly with back to back bogeys on 4 & 5. Did manage to right the ship, finished -7 and it STILL could have been better with about three putts burning lips. Onward.

Did manage to right the ship, finished -7 and it STILL could have been better with about three putts burning lips. Onward. Just a bit busy. By the last week i'm with my daughter here at my home, until tomorrow..i spended almost all my free time with her, watching movies, hearing music and talking.. or playing basketball (no, she don't appreciate golf ) and between this, my work and the issues with the game in my pc, in fact i played almost nothing in these last 2 weeks. But at least it seems i could play this week tourney, cause this course seems to work well in my pc..but i don't know if i will. In short, i spended the little time i could spend on the game just trying to solve my pc's issues, so in fact i played just to check courses for my list, but always running..and with no joy at all..and no desire or the right state of mind to stay focused or to study a bit on my shots (my hdc rating dropped from +25 to +16, just to say..)and today, that i finally tried to play a bit seriously, i'm realizing that in fact i simply can't hit anymore a single ball straight. My putt is an absolute shame, again. I'll need to restart practicing. A lot. I'll see if i'm good enough to compete properly or if os better just to practice (and hope that next course will works well too). Honestly..i'm probably just a bit deluded and sad, about this thing. But well..it will change, soon or later. So said, i still have no checked the standings, but your start sounds pretty good, cause the course seems to be tough this week. Good luck in every case, mate and..thanks for the thought.

I wish I would have recorded my last round. Almost every shot went exactly where I didn't want the ball to go, almost like the computer just took over and forced the ball to the worst area. Flop shot said 37 yards with only a 93% chance, hole was 40 yards away and I even held back because I did not want the ball to roll past on a downward large green and the ball lands, not rolls but LANDS 42 yards and of course rolls down to the other side of the green leaving me with a 50 foot plus putt uphill. They really misssed the mark with the flop shot yardage this year, I guess they had to nerf it somehow.
Hole 18 hit it past the fairway into the rough so I just want to pitch it out back in the fairway, said 40 something yards and I had like 70 plus yards to work with, hit the ball over 80yards. It was just insane how the ball just had a mind of its own.

Is for this reason that i try to avoid every distance between 25 and 50 meters. And to use just chips and pitches. Flop shots are also one of those few things that using master clubs seema to me is in some way easier, cause the ball seems to have a bit more spin.

I like this week's course very much despite a terrible first round. Greens are very tricky. I birdied 7 and 9 for an even-par front 9, then got hot on the back for -4 overall. Had I gone even 1 or 2-under on the front, I would have been much happier. I decided against playing the second round right away. We'll see what happens.

Played first 2 rounds last night. Started hot at -11 then took a step back with a -6 in the high winds. Like seeing my name on the first page of the leaderboard though even if it is for just a couple days

Not sure how I did it, but managed only 2 bogeys AND 2 iggles (one on the par 4 5th). 10 under is a 3 shot improvement over round 1. -17 half way through....as ezzinomilonga's band would say, do I stay or do I go? Maybe after round 2 of TST. Onward!

Maybe after round 2 of TST. Onward! You should to go when you feel is the right moment to go the rules are clear enough : 1) your heart needs to be pure and fearless 2) keep the phone off 3) if family calls, you just pretend to be deaf. Or dead. 4) you need some luck 5) ball don't lie! There are other rules, but these are the most important. Look at me, for example : I played just some hour ago my first round. I followed the rules, obviously. And the prize was a final -3. 👀 Well...probably my heart was no pure enough Reality is that i need to restart practicing seriously. I'll do. Meanwhile I'll try to end this tourney with a bit of dignity, at least. Then we'll see. I wish to be ready for the promotion event 4...but if I continue to play in this way..

Back from vacation. Now. Do I try to get 4 rounds in the one day I have before I leave again? No. Skipping my first week Agreed. This course is also a pretty tough one. It should be a bit stressful, to play 4 rounds in a day being always focused. Enjoy your next holydays, recharge your batteries and you'll come back more hungry and motivated.

I’m taking it as a recharge after a pretty good week last week. Art. That is actually a firefighter outfit. Or mosquito deterrent
