I'm still here. Just a heads up, 2 pins on the back nine in R4 violate the 9-box rule (yellow slope). Frustrating to lose strokes to that after a good tournament.

You know, we can complain about them and with good reason, but better course management would help to avoid them. Not that I am not guilty of REALLY looking at a green LOL It’s why we are in CCC.

hoosierjoe I have to say I didn't see the illegal pins on R4 and was looking out for them. There were a lot of tricky slopes on both of the last two rounds and that reflected in my slide down the leaderboard. I know that it can be a product of the angle of view, sometimes only seen on close chips rather than putts, alterations in green speed, system used and whether you got out of bed a bit funny. Most of my issues were missing the small greens and having downhill chips or big swinging short putts. I do know for certain that the course was checked before using it on tour and those issues weren't apparent. I feel your pain but will be dropping from top ten after round 2 to being lucky to stay inside the top 100 by the end.

They were both one line of yellow in the outer ring of the 9-box. I'm not even saying that it impacted my scores greatly, if at all (I think I made par on both holes). Just was something to look out for. I wasn't a huge fan of this courses greens at those speeds in general, but everyone is playing the same conditions so it is what it is.

I don't know who picked this course but I hope to never play it again. Hit the ball in the middle of the fairway on the same hole twice and each time it said it was in the rough with like 55% chance to hit the next shot making ti impossible to hit the green on a par 4 in 2 shots. Flags on slopes and greens you would never see in real golf. Played the last round in about 10 minutes, got totally bored.
I'm also hoping now that I am in the CC Pro category that not every week we only get a choice of fast green speeds or really fast. Otherwise I won't be sticking around too long. One or two rounds is fine but not all 4 every week. What's the point of playing if you have to always hit the ball 20 yards before the pin or they roll off? I realize they want to make it harder but you also need to make it enjoyable. No need for very fast or fast greens all 4 rounds week after week.

I actually like this course, the green speed was fine a little slow actually and I kept expecting more roll out. There was one hole in round 3 where red line was 3 squares away and it cost me a stroke but I should not have been there in the first place
What I found odd was that the greens seem spongy and not as firm as I was expecting. I was always coming up short. The greens were fine in my book. A little slopy but nothing totally unusual. Fun actually

OK - Played round 4 - I WISH the green speed was more consistent - not like a yo-yo 160-180-160-180 ish That is just unrealistic. Greens are fine - getting to the right SPOT on the green was a little tough but once there they are challenging but nothing really bad (unless you are in the wrong spot LOL).
That one fairway that runs the wrong direction from your drive is just a bad idea but it's only one and the recovery is right in the perfect club so . . not an issue.
Solid 3.5 stars in my book.

I hit the fairway in the same spot in 2 rounds and my second shot gave me like a 55% hit ratio making it impossible to reach the green in two on a par 4. I could see the ball roll and then stop suddenly and sink, it's a glitch or something. This weeks course is a little strange too, there are holes in the middle of the fairways. Does this mean I hole out if if my ball rollss into one? lol

I’m a bit surprised I held on to my promo mark this week. 2 in 3 weeks after none all season. Haven’t played Hazeltine yet. Interested to see how it plays vs Augusta.

Ooh we are at Hazeltine this week? Right in my backyard, well across town but close enough! Should be a fun week.

Hi all!! After my q-school,seems that i'll be a new player in this category. I'm really happy to play and compete with all of you. I hope also that,if i'll ever good enough to find a fu@$%ng firm and good position whule i play and then to solve my issues with my new controller to keep a straight line, maybe i could be a bit more conpetitive then now. Good golf to everyone!

And of course hole number 1 round 1 a big yellow slope 1 square from the hole. Not a fan of this course and slow greens. But. What can ya do. Not in my wheel house
