At the minute I’m using Master Clubs but I could drop down to pro clubs at any time, so I won’t be crying about getting beat at anytime, is it ok if I just call you Sam it’s easier for me as the memory isn’t good. I saw Pat was from Scotland after looking at his profile. I’ve had a few trips down to Manchester I used to race in the velodrome when I was younger and my “stepbrother” is from Salford, don’t ask it’s a long story 😁. Edit: my brother lives in Dundee as well. 😁 Right cool guys, just thought it would make it more fun and give us added incentive to do better. I'm from Dumbarton which is between Glasgow and Loch Lomond. I'll be switching between clubs but not bothered what clubs anyone else uses as long as we enjoy it that's the main thing. lessangster : Feel free to call me Sam......... I know Jamie ( Giraffe72 ) from the RRCC tour(s)... Top bloke who pens a terrific results write up & it looks as though he wants in? Similar results & deffo forum active so if you guys are in agreement would make it a nice little CC-C banter group?

Thanks Sam my mates in CC-B he’s a similar level to me and I usually play against his scores. The more the merrier

The moving event might spoil your rivalry if your playing it? Must admit I'm undecided whether I will or not. I want to get back in the Pro Tours but quite like the idea of working my way back naturally (or trying to). Having one good tournament and jumping up a few divisions wouldn't have the same satisfaction. I'm not unhappy to call CC-C my home for now. By the way, don't mind me, I didn't want any rivals..😢 I can’t see me getting out of CC - C anytime soon

WELL - after posting a total of -8 in the first 2 rounds I ended with -26 the final 2 rounds. Zero bunkers hit.

On the first tournament I picked a guy who was about the same position on the leaderboard, I'm glad I dropped it as he's leading this tournament. I might play the promotion tournament as I like to put myself up against players in other flights, but I normally struggle in these tournaments.

Ok gloating finished. 2nd place 2nd half of the tournament. Do I get a trophy ?😜
player clubs this this week to get rid of a demerit mark. Back to Master next week where I will sink Into my hole of darkness

Like real golf. This a humbling game. One round to the next I can shoot a 58 and 70, swearing that I am not doing anything differently.

A pair of 64's to kick off to put me -16 at half way, easily my best start yet. Both rounds could have been better, a VF into the water at 5 in round 1 led to a double, then kept messing up the par 5's in round 2 but got a good run going to get to -9 thru 15 but couldn't capitalise. Missed two good birdie chances and then a VF off the tee at 18 led to my only dropped shot of the round. Annoying! It's given me something to build on though, a good third round could get me in to top 20 contention. Not sure what to make of the course, I kind of like it and dislike it in equal measure! Good luck all

First round of -4, should've scored lower but just a few badly managed shots stopped me. So are we starting the rivalry next week? 😂

Good luck all Me too. I don't hate the course at all. It's well done and fair. Driving is going to be tough as the fairways are tight and no light rough (a pet peeve of mine on courses that have heavily contoured FWs). I haven't played any rounds yet, but I've played two practice rounds and have had mixed results. Most of the time, I par the @#$! out of the course, but then I'll reel off 6 birds in a row. I could shoot 60 or I could shoot 73. I'll probably get started tomorrow.
