So following the promotion event this appears to be my new home. For a couple of weeks at least.
Just played my rounds at Aristida. Ebbed and flowed without ever getting any real rhythm. Shot -3,-4,-4,-2 for -13 overall hopefully that is reasonable in this division.

What's up CC-G? Just wanted to jump in here and get involved. I haven't played video games in probably 15 years (since Tiger Woods golf almost cost me a scholarship in college) but got my daughter a PS4 for Christmas. I picked up this game and was enjoying it but the TCG Tours really take it to the next level. I qualified at CC-Z and had a really rough time the Kass Mountain course last week (+18 overall) but I guess I did good enough in the promotion event to find myself here. This weeks course seems more playable without being overly easy. I shot a 65 for round 1 today. Looking forward to competing here and hopefully getting better by the week.

First tourney done and a bit of practice to see myself in top 20. About 6 shots a round to improve by.

CC WORLD CUP I would like to ask if any CC-G players would be interested in taking part in the CC World Cup in Week 25? The competition would require you to take part in the Promotion Event in Week 25. I'll be taking registration for it on Week 23 and if there are more than 4 players interested we will use Week 24's tournament as a qualifier. Please see the link below for details. CC WORLD CUP

I'm currently playing my first round of this week's tournament.
I added a bot because I'm a lonely man. There round was completed today so you'd think same conditions right?
I have 12mph winds and he has 2mph winds. Surely that's not right?

Am I the only one who finds the course this week more suited for Web tour or higher? I mean I corrected myself somewhat by the end, but overall feel it was a bit above the Am skill level.

I guess we'll see if the final scoring seems any different at the end of the week. That will give a good indication. Personally, I loved the track. Yeah there were some tricky shots if you missed in the wrong places but there's nothing worse than courses that you just fire and forget.

I don't have much perspective as I completed Q school last week and ended up here in CC-G, so this is my first tournament. I've also only played my first 2 rounds so far. In my opinion some of the slopes on the greens are a bit much in relation to the pin positions. Personally I didn't mind this too much because it really made me think about my approach shots and where to land it to attempt an uphill putt (hard for me to do on some of these green). My putting is my weakest link and these greens made me pay a few times after my approach shot was off and put me in a tough spot on the green(especially in my second round...I was -5 at one point then unravelled due to my putting).

Great track this week, challenging in the right places, just need to look at the R1 scores only 25 people better that -5. (if my spreadsheet-fu is good) I have a like/hate/love relationship with this course, a -2,-1,+5, -12 set of rounds. If it wasn't for that pesky +5 I'd have had my best ever finish I reckon.

To register head over to the CC World Cup Event thread and post your Leaderboard Name, Forum Name and Current Flight. This is being run in conjunction with the Promotion Event #3, so you must play in that to take part.

Irvine Knolls is a pretty straightforward test in comparison to the courses we have played over the past few weeks.
-31 posted. Enough for a maiden tour victory? I'm expecting to see people at -40ish.

First week on CC-G, played pretty solid, but left a lot of birdies out there.
