Can someone explain the demotion marks to me. I recently joined the tour, played my first event and had two red arrows during the week, now I only have one next to my name?

Promotion event #2: If my maths skills are correct there are 83 spots available above CC-G... so good chance by finishing under par in that special event, that you will promote!
Update: Just completed 4 rounds... finished 5 under par - we will see!

Just finishing under par will get you promoted? Is it just one round? And is it some super hard course, because it seems just finishing under par is way too easy for being promoted.

Wow, those scores this week - so many over par... Iโm nervous before teeing off! ๐

To be fair my +4 was one of my better rounds. Slowly rolling off the back of the raised par 3, rolling into the bunker and sticking on the vertical back wall. The wind changing from headwind to tailwind between lining up and hitting. One of the par fours having the flag put on a three-legged pool table in the back corner leading to three chips coming back to my feet. It was all a nice change up from just the rogue fast and slow swings leading to poor scores. Practice rounds meant I wasn't surprised but still it is nice not to be chasing -15 at this level.

Since we've moved the CC-Pro Ryder Cup competition forward to Week 15, it means Week 16 is freed up. As all flights will be playing the same course and tees I thought it would be good to seize the opportunity to set something up.
If you are using Pro Clubs for the Promotion Event you'd automatically qualify as the highest you can reach is CC-A. Master Club users may join if they fail to reach PGA, Euro or Web tours. I don't know whether to do a straight forward tournament or a knockout where the highest scoring players in each round are knocked out.
We could have a sign up window open until Monday 18th say about 9pm GMT to give players a chance to find out what flight they're on. There would be no commitment to play all 4 rounds as it's an individual competition. I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to have a competition which covers all flights from CC-A to CC-Z.
Any thoughts?

This course is tough, very hard to judge what to hit to the greens, so much difference in elevation. Plus you might have a small landing in the fairway with a cross wind and a big tree where you need to hit it. Draw and Fade can be your friend here.

Most difficult course and conditions I've seen... but hopefully this makes us CC G's better at the game. Course was a bit glitchy when I played... Great design........at least we should see "normal" scores this week ..??

Great to have a challenge! Interesting to see how we all react! ... I choked and raged on the first round with an +11!!! ouch... Round 2, what a turnaround, I was -3 after 15 holes!! Then bang Triple, then Bogey!! To finish +1.... to say I was shattered is an understatement. There is hope for R3/R4 tonight ๐

I punished myself by doing my remaining three rounds last night and it got slightly better. Similar story with getting under par then a couple of holes taking away as you come to the finish. 15 out of 18 holes playing over par for the field in the first round. As long as it isn't the norm I reckon just suck it up and move on.

Definitely the hardest course since Q-School in my opinion. Wind conditions did not help. Personally I was impressed by the challenge the course offered.
Wind seems to be the big difference maker for me, other than a shockingly inconsistent swing plane.

WOW hole 5 I blasted my drive over the green and down in the valley along those rocks. So I'm thinking great out of bounds I have to take a stroke, like totally unplayable on a rocky cliff and the graphics were all broken also down there, well it wasn't out of bounds and my ball is stuck down there no way out. I tried to select unplayable and it just kept putting me back down there, couldn't hit out over 50 ft straight up a cliff and in between boulders from what I could see. I ended up having to take the max on a hole, 10 strokes. That killed me that round. I feel there should be some compensation for that hole.

Shocked to finish +27 and still not get a red mark (82nd).... looks like I might get promoted after promo event - and here I thought I belonged in CC-Z ๐
Update: Oh geez I am in trouble, I just got promoted to CC-E!!!! (after my -5 finish in the promo event, and Iโm a masters club player).
