Well it’s been an age since I started one of these threads but there are plenty of “old heads” kicking around this division.
so let’s post some scores and then nestle in at the bar. Whiskey all round for the Xbox master club boys......babychams for the pro’s/beginners.....you are already living too close to edge for my liking.
post away......

Finished -13 in CC-B. Can't get my head around Holyoke.
Feels odd in this bar, but I think it'll be a nice place!
That being said, I'm having a couple of weeks out now as I'm off to Australia for 3 weeks!

You gotta hit at the very least Pros on this course if you even wanna make a dent in the yardage. I like how the CC schedulers went with the tips right off the bat. Pull off the diapers Beginner users, this isn't bumper bowling

How about I go masters pro ladies and then final round with whatever set I shot best with. Will keep you guys updated and I expect a stiff bourbon and diet from digsb if masters clubs work out

Are we adding 80% of our totals to our xbox scores to compensate for the Playstation factor?

I hope so...it'll show you can't compete with those clubs CC-B for me swung Pro's for 2 and Master's for 2 as I am still shaking things out with the tempo -20...won't challenge anything

The world keeps changing around me and I never have the tools to catch up! I was a solid Web.com player in TGC2 - but no more. CC-D is my new home and I was lucky to make that and yet I thought I played some great golf! When I work out what has changed I may climb, slowly but surely. Until then, I worry it’ll be a rapid decline. Htf does someone get -105? Really though??? Anyway - will depart to a CC-D thread once it’s created and see if this old fish can swim with the younger, faster tiddlers! Cheers all!

Sheesh... -1 -1 -3 -1 in CC-B, masters only.
I'm gonna go ahead and say it - Holyoke is harder that St. Bedes in a less unfair way. If your irons are off, good luck being on the right tier of the green, and even if you are in the right spot, you probably still have to hit a side hill putt for your birdie. If you can't judge wind, you have no shot. But if you're hitting your clubs straight and your tempo is good, you can score well on it.
I'd much rather be punished that way than jump on the first tee and hit a water puddle in the middle of the fairway on a perfect/perfect swing.

Well, this'll be the first time I've managed to have a course on the same tour I was playing on, so it'll be a little different this week. I'm happy that they cranked the winds up, since I think the course gets more interesting with the wind, and the wind/greens are the only real defense the course has. Plus there's no water or OB, so those blowup holes aren't going to be as bad.

Felt pretty good about my play, just fell short on the front 9 par 5s first 3 rounds, and the p/f approaches left me with a lot of chips or putts from fringes. My best round was round 2 which really could of doubled but i struggled with the 140s green speeds. Onto next week...

This community wouldn’t exist otherwise
