There was lag. More than I have experienced on any other course in TGC2019. It was pretty bad in places, as previously mentioned. Any waterfall hole as said, was particularly laggy, but the lag was not exclusive to them.
PS4 Pro. Low input lag tv in game mode. I’m an OCD freak regards my internet connection. All records for latency and packet loss at the time of my rounds point towards nothing but a perfect connection.
This thread is getting a bit stupid, but hey, what do we expect?
I really liked the course. It was a lovely design. That said, it had some very poor pins (with TGCT guidelines in mind) R3 and R4, and it lagged more than any other course I’ve played in the current iteration of the game.
PS4 players have still scored well, of course. Some are scoring very well in 2019, so it is not impossible to score, which I’m not sure had been suggested.
I’m not attacking Terry, far from it, but I’m entitled to my opinion and can give feedback on my experience. So there it is, as folk are weighing in.

Huge difference between your perfectly acceptable, politely-written and neutral post describing your lag, versus attacking the schedulers and designer as Brad did. Lag was tested by the rangers. including 3 PS4 rangers from what I've heard. They had no lag, I definitely had none and the vast majority of people had none - so if some people did, then that sucks obviously but there's no need to be rude to the people working behind the scenes because it's not the designers', schedulers' or rangers' fault that a minority of people experienced lag. They work really hard for the community for no material reward, so for them to be attacked for something not their fault is massively unfair and it's stuff like this that spoils an otherwise awesome community.

Larry mate, I think this is getting blown a little out of proportion, personally. I don't really think that Brad's outburst could or should be labelled as an attack on the designer, schedulers and rangers, all of which I'm, and I'm absolutely positive that many others, Brad included, have a huge amount or respect for and gratitude towards. I'm also absolutely positive that Brad doesn't need anyone to stick up for him or his actions either, so don't mistake that for what I'm doing here. I'm not a fan of any reverse pitchfork mentality / movement. We're all big boys, including the schedulers, rangers and designers, and we're all entitled to our opinion. If we can't vent a bit about it without getting out of control, which I don't think this did, then that'd be truly sad. Had Brad already had a bit of banter with Terry etc, maybe his response would have been better tempered (I don't know really, as I don't know Brad from Adam)... but the fact is that I don't think anyone is conspiring to overthrow rule, or shouting for people to be hanged here. Everybody will put across their views in different ways. Some peoples ways are more palatable to some, than others. I don't see much more that that here. Maybe it's easier for me to be more objective in my response as I'm just shite and I know it! **EDIT** If some performance feedback is desired, required or requested, maybe we could have a separate avenue for that on the site?

Fadge, disagree that it wasn't an attack, it's the same 'blame Pablo' attitude that I really hoped was gone from the forums. There are so many ways to express an opinion without being rude to individuals, especially when it's out of their control like lag. Stuff like "this course kicked my ass" / "not a fun course, doesn't suit my eye" / "I had serious lag on this course" / "man my tempo was all over the place" / "damn lying beads had me burning edges" etc., all perfectly acceptable opinions without assigning blame onto members of the community who are genuinely trying their best to make this a fun tour.

Now, should I share the contents of my inbox? or shall we just skip to the bit where you admit you're being a grade A hypocrite

I already said to you in those messages that I agreed I was being nasty to you, but it was a response to you making my bunker joke sound like I was joking about rape, which I thought was totally unfair.

You responded with a series of personal insults (that were far more personal than anything i've seen in this thread btw) and now.....
You are preaching to people about how they shouldn't attack people personally.
You've got some nerve Larry, i'll give you that

No, I'm saying people shouldn't attack others for something completely out of their control, as in this case with lag on a video game golf course, especially when designers, schedulers and rangers are doing their best and clearly aren't trying to make our video game experience suck because of something like lag. I attacked you because I felt you attacked me first with the rape insinuation - I assumed after our chat that we agreed things escalated too far and that was the end of it, but it seems you're still holding a grudge.

Wow, guess who's back? over opinionated Larry Barry Sally or whatever you liked to be called nowadays?
The course lagged badly, that's the truth.
How have I attacked anyone? I just stated a perfectly valid point, the course was awful to play, not the design of it, the performance of it. How is that in anyway an attack? There are hundreds of courses to choose from, hardly any of them lag in 2019, this one did. But your on PC aren't you, so it must be fine.
