just got a chance to finish up and look at the scores.
wow.....
I honestly was thinking -20 would be good enough to win in Z, but it doesn't even get a promotion mark!
Hoping that the new system will move these sandbaggers out of here pretty quick.

Done my 4 rounds thought it might be a good day when I aced the 14th on r2 then eagle on the 15th but the high expectation monster came and dealt me a +7 on r3 which made my card a bit messy. -5 -8 +7 -1 Total -7 Good luck to all. Add me if you fancy a game away from comp, love to play some rounds with you guys and gals. Are you on xbox? No pal pc only I'm afraid

-47 the winner in CC-Z.... would have won G and F divisions! Can expect this in the next few weeks whilst things and skills stabilise!

Got to admire that level of scoring maybe because I don't think I would ever score that in four rounds. Something must click out there then one is able to return high scores like that but this is my 3rd purchase of TGC since its start and I am just not getting it. Good luck

Hi, How ya doin'? I'm doin' pretty good myself. Toughed out a solid T10 placing in last weeks tournament. Fired my caddy after round 2 for handing me my putter PRIOR to me removing my glove. Good night and keep your socks dry. #FiresideShanks

Not sure if I improved much overall in the 2nd tournament - hit 75% fairways & greens which was better, but putting was absolutely woeful!!! 32 putts in Rd 1, and not looking forward to seeing the stats for the other rounds!
Finished -7 total after 4 rounds (using Masters) so no blowouts at least. Oh well, always the next tournament!

Golf is a funny old game! -10 opening round to a really really really really really really frustrating EVEN par second round in this weeks comp! I handed the towel in for the night due to frustration! Tempo went out of the window! Hopefully pick it back up for the final two round but feel that second round could of killed all hope of a top 20 finish this week!!

Just throwing it out there that clubs are not fair. Just my opinion. I shot -13 under for the first tourney using master clubs. I switched to beginner and I posted -14 for the first ROUND of steamshovel. Good luck to all.
Edit* played a practice round after and shot -17. Officially for round two I shot -7 with big mess ups on putting. My point remains that a beginner club always has advantage. This is obvious to most I am sure. Whatever gives you enjoyment is what I say go for. I’ll be aiming to promote up to where masters clubs are the norm. Hope I get there.

Im trying my best not to be concerned with this being my first season here. As ive mentioned in here before i switched to pros after a real q school struggle with masters. I fully plan to be back with masters in 3/4 weeks. I feel that looking at the leaderboards here that beginner clubs just goes toooo far lol

I don't blame you, I used Pro first tourney because I wanted to promote out of Z. Finished 3rd. I would prefer to use masters but with the scores being shot by beginners that cant happen. I am going to use Pro until I feel like I cant finish top20 with them (which may be this week, finished -34 with pro and if that isn't in top 20 lol) Don't want to have to use beginners, but I may have to eventually.

We need a CC'zers pact for all to stick to at least pro clubs regardless!! Try and save the day!!! I cant roll down to beginners, the game becomes pointless

Hey that is a nice round. I like the group we have here in Z land, but the beginners are just too unfair to those trying to use a harder club. I looked and 9 of the top 11 right now are beginner - other two are pro. After two I am -21 , but I am willing to bet if I stay on it it for the next two rounds that I could approach -50 and that is just not "fun" to me lol. I would wager most of us can shoot outlandish scores with beginners. If I do not win, I will go back to masters/pro to give myself a harder challenge. The beginner club feels like you are hitting on rails. Putting also feels much easier. To each their own I suppose, but how can anyone compete without using the beginner clubs currently? Hate that I feel this way, maybe it will change one day. Magpie, it is my first season too. Do not be discouraged. I just wanted to bring the great disparity between the clubs to light. Master clubs are where I prefer to play.

I'm doing well with Pro clubs, but it's going to take forever to move up since I did Q-school with Masters and put up terrible scores. Can't blame anyone who uses beginner, since it's legal, but I kinda wish they would change the rules if this is supposed to be a competitive tour. Right now it feels like anyone not using beginner clubs is just handicapping themselves.

I really like the concept of this tour, but if I have to use beginners to have any chance of competing, then I'll just quit and go back to playing in societies.
