Concur. You should post your dissertation to the clubhouse board.

I found this golf course to be ingenious. It is surprisingly challenging. I really enjoyed playing EXCEPT for #8 during the third round. I found the flag placement to be a little ridiculous. One hole blew up my whole tournament.

Just rejoined and am in CC-Z but there is actually no CC-Z society so where do I play the matches. To rejoin I had to play in Cc-Pro. Is that the place to play all tours and admin sort it all out? Thanks.

Thanks. For CC-Z we all play in the TGCTours CC-AM society. Edit: As Doley stated, CC-Am = CC-E, F, G, Z CC-Pro = CC-A, B, C, D

Copy/paste from the clubhouse threadHi all, just wanted to update the state of CC-Z following the Promotion Event and a tweak to the Fast Track calculations. 1. Fast Tracking has been beefed up on CC-Z (only for now) - this week 28 were fast tracked to CC-G (a score of 20-under or better from W25 event was good enough to trigger it this week). 2. Promotion event - 31 CC-Z'ers promoted out (in addition to #1 above) So that's 59 CC-Z members that have moved up due to either good shooting in the Promotion Event or good shooting on the CC-Z event. Hopefully that helps going forward - it should be a bit more competitive for those of you shooting closer to par. The beefed up Fast Track will remain in place and I'll be monitoring it weekly. I've said it a few times but never hurts repeating for the newer members - CC-Z is the flight you'll find the most fluctuation in skill level - many people jump into Q-School quickly and then get on tour and their game improves/clicks - it happens on all the flights, but is magnified on CC-Z due to the large number of players. I've re-balanced Q-School distribution so that more will end up in CC-G. All of these changes should help CC-Z be the flight it was intended to be - a place for those learning the game or settled in at this skill level. Those that improve will be moved out much quicker now. Thanks!

Wow, THANK YOU Doyley!
I shot a -4, and last couple weeks, that would be in the 70s or 80s, even though it was a great round, for my personal skills.
Was very very pleasantly surprised to look at the leaderboard and see myself clocking in tied for 29th, which is what I would hope for, on a night when I felt like I did great after finishing a round.
Thank you!

With all the cc leagues mixed up in the am society, where do you get to see the results please? I've looked all over but I'm obviously looking in the wrong places! 😁

wow I gotta start making myself not look at the scores until the very end.
I was -5 on 14, I think, and suddenly noticed I the score. The thought popped into my head, WOW, I continue this, and I'll be up there with my best score ever!
That made me so nervous, I promptly bogied two of the last four holes. sigh. #theyipsarereal

I have quite possibly played my best tournament to date.
Scratch that, I HAVE played the best tournament to date.
I am rarely able to put together four good rounds, much less great ones. best finish to date has been tie for 34.
I know there are still people left to play, but I"m sitting currently in a tie for 18th! I've never seen my name in the top 20, this late in the game!
I played three good rounds to start, hitting 3 under each time. Thats above average for me.
But round 4 was the kicker.
Tempo was giving me a fit, and I never could find my rhythm today. Was hitting a lot of "Very's", and after the front nine I was +3, and actually felt like I was lucky to be even at that. Then on #10, I had a beautiful approach shot that went in for an eagle. That pumped me up, and even though the tempo issues were still there on the back nine, I powered through it, and managed to get the score back down to two under, before bogieing 18 from nerves/trying to hard, and finishing at -1.
Point is, I finished probably the best I have to date, but I have this feeling, that I really overcame adversity in that final round to do it.
