My contribution to bold contours.... Disclaimer: This pic may come or not from my Invicta entry Hmm, different course from the one you posted in the Invicta thread... Yep, started this one a couple of days before the invicta was officially started, so I can't use it in the contest. But it'll get published for sure

But it'll get published for sure Makes me want to go back through mine green by green and really try and tweak them up so they all stand out more. Playing Laphroaig last night kind of gave me the same feeling. That'd be a good one for jwfickett to try out for inspiration on his links project.

I hope you enjoyed Laphroaig, as it's my favourite course of all I've made I think the heart and soul of a golf course live in the greens, and that's why I try to make them stand out. I do them in a particular way, as I sculpt them before they've been laid out (well, at least the basic sculpting) so when I have them in place I can focus on the micro sculpting And that's enough secret sharing, we're in the same group of Invicta after all....

Indeed. Seriously considering checking out Pinehurst #4 at the US Amateur next summer. Also looking to get down to check out Streamsong Black at some point.

How many cuts of grass does Gil Hanse go through with his bunkers? His courses wouldn't make TGC Tours.

This one is full of bold contours, and a lot of other golf course architecture eye candy
