How do I find out what tour I'll be in. I finished at -21 -21 is currently CC-C, but hang fire because when all the DNFs are taken out things might shuffle about a bit. At the moment I'm joining you! I’m at -21 as well see you on tour

So i finished T110th at Q-School and will be on the PGA Tour. I feel like i don't deserve it with the amount of hate i have given the game but hey ho. Big thing for me was playing nearly as quick as i did in the first game. Sure i would make a mistakes here and there but the positives were far outweighing the negatives. Well done to everyone else on reaching the top tours and anybody who accomplished their goal! Didn’t realise it was you till a couple of days back Dan. Glad you’re back mate, win lose or draw it’s a pretty good game now, even with the dodgy XBox tempo.

Playing with mouse and keyboard was a disaster, even with beginner clubs, so didn't even finish Q school. I probably won't play this game again unless something is changed for mouse players, which is a shame, as I loved TGC2 with a passion. I was so looking forward to TGC2019, I even bought a new Predator Gsynch monitor and upgraded my graphics card purely for this game. I cannot express how disappointed I am. What mouse are you using? Un upgrade there might be the difference.

So you've spent: £45 (or equivalent) on the game, £150+ on a monitor - for the game, £? on a graphics card (I have no clue how much they cost - £100+ ?) - so £300+
And yet you're going to give it up without a fight without spending just £45 more on a XB1 controller for the PC ?
Seems less than sensible to me.......
I would never give up after THAT kind of investment. But I would not go controller either, the mouse swing just FEELS like a golf swing. Don't give up surdoux grinding away you will find a swing!

Monitor was £404, new graphics card was £500, and I did not give up without a fight. I do have a controller, but am physically unable to use it (although I tried). I'm not one to give up easily, but it just IS NOT HAPPENING. I'm here for ya, I want you on tour!

It really doesn't matter. First, it's a game. Second, the chips will fall where they fall during the season. I wish I sandbagged it to progress, because THAT'S the fun of it. Meanwhile, where are the "elite" guys during matchmaking? Bring it! Umm, I’m aware that it’s just a game, but this is, after all, the forum where we talk about... THE GAME! 😉 Where is Herm Edwards!

Spare a thought for Sherry Dale (+209) & the other CC-Zedders.... Well done to you all for not giving up & persevering.
The only way is up now & hopefully many of you will look back later in the season & realise how far you've come!!

So are those qualification lines now going to move? 1703 people on the CC board splits 8 ways in to about 212 which seems to be where the lines are currently set. I just quickly counted up 137 DNF's which if they're removed means 1566 on the leaderboard. Obviously everybody will move up a few spots depending on how many of those are above them, but also means this now splits 8 ways in to about 195, so the line for CC-C for example will now be 585th instead of 636th (etc, etc.).
Is that how it's working?

Big thing for me was playing nearly as quick as i did in the first game. I think playing quickly helps with tempo because you're not consciously thinking about timing every shot (especially the really important ones), it's just a relaxed and confident overall approach to the game. I'm certain my tempo results in TGCT events are much worse than my casual rounds because there's no stress or overthinking which will always impact such a subtle and delicate motion as required for P/P tempo. You'd think being conscious of the above phenomenon would give me an advantage but nope, I lost my bollox in the PGA event and played terribly. Every aspect of my game was bad, tempo especially was as bad as it's ever been for me in the new game. My average practice round at Kraken was -11, in the actual event my average wasn't even -7. All the old familiar feelings returned - pounding heart, shaky hands, general feeling of self-loathing and wanting to punch my monitor after every burned edge or fast downswing pitch. I really need to get myself hypnotised not to give a crap about TGCT events.

Sorry if this has been answered. How are ties determined. At the moment i am tied with a bunch of maybe 7 or 8 others at a cut line for pro and am.Some are above the line others below.Doesn't seem to matter what club set were used. Thanks

The sorting criteria are:
1) CLub set used - Master gets priority, then pro, then beginner 2) Best 8th round score 3) Best 7th round score 4) Best 6th round ......
You get the picture from there
