-9 first round. Putter was just a bit off here and there, but perfectly fine with the score. Having a water and small snack break, then onwards! -10 2nd round. Highlight was a hole out with the 7W on #12 for eagle.
Round 3 shortly.
Round 3 -9. Missed a pretty easy putt on the 18th, but still fine with the scores so far.
One more to go.

66-64-64-65 (-25).
I know I left a few out there, but those greens and pins are a bit of a lottery. Really, these four rounds were more about survival than anything else. Frankly, I was very pleased with the way I played tee to green and made only one bogey over 72 holes, which was self-inflicted after trying to go for the green out of the FW bunker on 18 in R1. Made a number of momentum-saving par putts, which definitely helped.
I won't say too much about the course, as I've been on the other side where my designs have been heartily debated/criticized by some players. Some will find the course to suit them just fine. Others, not so much. I fall in the latter category on this one, but everyone's playing the same track. It will definitely get your goat at times if you're not careful. In that way, I found it to be a major-like test of patience, and I was satisfied with how I handled the examination.
EDIT: Should be noted. Master Clubs all the way for me. Definitely gunning for a pro card!

-3/-5/-1/-5. Seemed like I missed a putt or chip by inches on every other hole. Screwed up half my flops too. Have to play a lot better next week.

-10 2nd round. Highlight was a hole out with the 7W on #12 for eagle.
Round 3 shortly.
Round 3 -9. Missed a pretty easy putt on the 18th, but still fine with the scores so far.
One more to go.
Round 4 in with a -5. Went 71 holes without a bogey (I think), but then hit literally my first or second very fast downswing that wasn't a chip, flop, or pitch of TGC2019 on my approach on the 72nd. Hacked it out and bogey on the last.
Was also a bit more tentative on my putting respecting the 187 greens, and the approaches were a little further off than the first three rounds.
-9 -10 -9 -5 for -33.
Bring on the next four rounds.

Not that winning or even top10 matters because I only care about qualifying but this course was equivalent to dating a girl who was just terrible for you but you got a little action. Finally finishing four rounds I can break up with her and block her number.
Probably 15 lip outs or burned edges. 3 putted twice in r1 from 12 feet. Just got old and tired. You never make them all but seriously itβs just a designer thing the way theyβre sculpted.
Good luck everyone! π

NERVES !!!!!
Round 1 = Even Steven nerves were freakin'... Even Par Round 1 .. That damn 6th hole !! Round 2 = ACE IT BABY... Hole in One on 16 which led to an amazing -10 (61).. That got me back in the mix.. My best round ever on Bedes and it came at the right time.. Round 3 = Better than goal.. -5... That puts me at -15 after three.. My goal was to score -3 per round based on my practice rounds.. Round 4 = Save that Par !!! Spent the entire first 9 or 10 holes saving Par as much as possible.. Finally made some birdies on back.. Another -5...
-20 for the tourney.. Very pleased I came back strong from Round 1.. Great course for Q School.. Excellent.. Tough bastad though.. Good luck everyone.. Don't let a bad round take you down..

First round complete. Played a practice round just before which I was pleased with. Played calmly within myself like it was just another round. Missed a couple close ones for birds and got one on #2. One under after 5 holes. Come to the par 4 with the tree in the fairway, no big deal just aim to the right and it will be fine. Calmly take my tee shot and get a " very fast " d/swing, super hooks into water, places my ball so far back that with the wind a 3 wood could only get me to the rough with the little path which I was able to pull off. Played nice shot to hole which hops backwards into the trap. Get out of trap which goes to the far side of the green and 3 putt for an 8. After that, burning the holes but no goes except for a couple but had 2 bogeys. So finished +4 with that stinkin' 8. On to round 2, hoping for some better luck.

Played the opening 2 rounds and got punted around in round 1. On one of the Par 5's had a very slow downswing and into the drink. Was in decent shape coming down the stretch and bogies 3 of the last 4 holes. Shot -3 Round 2 played bogey free. Made some knee knocking par saves from 12 feet out and salvaged a -8. I had a personal goal of -25 for this course. Was hoping for around -12/-13 at the halfway point and will take what I got and play the other 2 rounds another day so I can catch my breath.

After a bogey on the first hole, I managed to finish with -7 in rd 1. Rounds 2-4 werenβt as good. I felt like I thought may way around the course very well and stayed out of trouble but man itβs tough to score at that course. Had a 96β putt that was 3β uphill on the last hole of the tourney. After my first putt, I still had 56β and 2β uphill. But at least I saved my double bogey ;-) -15 in the end and Iβm happy to be done with that one! Good luck all!!

Ahh, those are some amazing scores guys. I understand it might be up to your personal, best standards, but consider the following for perspective +3, E, E, +5 For me, it was two holes that wrecked me in the first and fourth rounds. Such is a golf life.
