First of all, not looking for any arguments. I have been away from the tours for awhile and just got 2019 and have played 6 rounds, but only 1 round with pro clubs and the other with the master clubs. If things don't change and I am not required to go to Q-school again, I will begin in CC-B.
Just curious what my competitors are using and maybe some comments on each set so far like learning curve, etc.
Again, just discussion, not debate. Thanks in advance.
Look forward to establishing some rivalries.
So far, I am struggling with consistency with the master clubs but that may be due to my not playing for awhile. I am making a lot of bogies and not matching with birdies.

I started out with master clubs but I'm so inconsistent with them, having trouble wanting to stick with them. Going to be practicing with pro clubs instead and see how I do...my game is more about accuracy than distance.
The argument, IMO, for using master clubs is that if you can get a consistent miss with them, and plan for it, then you'll get the distance bonus and since the TGC19 rough isn't all that penalizing, it should make it ok in the long run. I haven't explored that strategy yet...spent a lot of time with my master clubs tweaking my tempo trying to find the right one...but it might be better to just find a consistent miss.

I’ll stick with player clubs. I’m not sure I can get higher then CC B but I’m not too concerned. I dabbled in Master club but really only found 1 or 2 drives a round where it made much of a difference ...... when hit correctly.
My feeling is Master is the way to go if you are super competitive and want to move up and up. I’m happy with the top30% of CC B and no random yanks .... or less remdom yanks

I'm using master clubs. TBH I haven't even tried using any other set. I made the switch to tour clubs in TGC2 about 2 months ago. I've played maybe 30 rounds now and I'm handling them ok. My only issue is I suck at putting but I will get that no matter which club set I use.
P.S. I can't for the life of me get the over boost drive that people do with them, Tried it a couple of times and just wrecks my tempo for every other shot.

I was an avid TGC 1 player but pretty much skipped TGC2. I wanted to get back into tourneys so I'm sticking with TGC 2019. I've been forcing myself to use Master clubs and, with about 20 rounds under my belt so far, I'm still struggling with the accuracy. I can play a few holes pretty well, then can completely lose it on a hole (I stuck 3 in the water on a hole last night after being 3 under through nine). It is irritating but I'm still going to try to stick it out a little longer and see if I can stay with the master clubs.

Ok got so frustrated with Master Clubs after finishing a round at +12 that I switched to Pro Clubs. My next round, same course and conditions, was -9. That is a HUGE difference. I think I'm going to hang with the pro clubs for a bit and move up later if I get the urge.

I've tried both pro and master. I just feel that the inaccuracy of masters more than cancels out any increase in distance. So I'll be staying with the pro set. At least for now until I lose my mind later on.

The problem with Tour/Master is when you hit a p/p dead center and you get "that" feeling, "I'll be in the top 10 WGR soon".Then you hit the next shot... Speaking for myself of course LOL. I'll stick with Pro for now and use Master now and then to break up the monotony.

Master Clubs even though I am all over the place, when I started I went Masters then went to Pro, I was still crap so might as well be crap with longer distance so will stick to Masters Clubs.

With that said - Masters because now is a good time and I really don't care what tour I start with.

Master. PGA is my goal this season so it was a no-brainer. Did the tour score card stop working. Seems like the last few times I tried to update it wont go past week 38. /shrugs.

There was a thread about the tour cards but I can't seem to find it lol. They stopped working. The who was running the site they used didn't have the time anymore to update anything, I think he handed it over to the guys from TGCT but not sure, Doyley should know, after all, God knows all #DoyleyisGod
