What is the difference between an “approved course” and a “tour worthy” course?

What is the difference between an “approved course” and a “tour worthy” course? One of the admins can confirm this but I’m pretty darn sure “approved” means the course was simply accepted into the TGC Tours database so people can find it there. “Tour Worthy” means the reviewer thinks a scheduler should take a look at it for a possible tournament on one of the tours. Doesn’t mean it will get on tour but that it’s worthy of hosting an event

How do I reach out to a designer who submitted a course but I cannot find it to review it? Course in Question is Commonwealth Country Club there are a few versions listed in TGC2019 but none of them match up in total yards to what the designer submitted

You can search and play it in the game, but as of now, it ain't in the TGCtours database.

What is the pecking order for reiews? Seems like there are always courses approved that were submitted after mine, some lierally same day as the thread started. Just curious as I don't think I'll have any issues. Also, probably more a question for VctryLnSprts, what determies, if anything, which courses are featured on the main website under 'top new courses'? Is this just a rolling post of approved courses?

The top new courses bit - it's simply the last 4 courses that have been designated as Tour Worthy (rather than simply approved) - as another course gets designated that, it replaces the oldest of the current 4. So if you get unlucky, and a bunch of courses get reviewed at the same time, you might only be on there for a few hours / a day - if there is a lack of reviewing done, then you may see the same course on there for many days.....
No idea re the pecking order for reviews though - I'd purely guess the reviewers pick any course up for review when they feel like, and then review it at their leisure (rather than them having to automatically review the 'next-in-line')

I always do this: 1). Review list for any courses I’ve already played. If some exist, I will claim then review. 2). Start at the oldest and work my way up toward newest 3). If a big list of courses from one submitter, review 1 or 2 and then leave the rest for others.

I work from the bottom up unless I see I course I already played, then I'll grab it and give it it's grade to potentially save folks some time.
