What I've always loved about this game, you need some luck. And I don't mean random luck, I mean good old fashioned golf gods luck.
Played round 3 last night, had a bit of time so I thought I'd match play a turn based ghost. My usual suspects are either not here or a bit behind me on the leaderboard (cough, @bigm) so I loaded up the Aussie Duke. He's 8 shots ahead of me and joint top of the leaderboard so a bit in the distance, but I didn't want that Morgan fella dragging me down to his level.
Mr Duke has recently burst on to the Xbox leaderboards, clearly a very good player and if he can carry on that form in the new game he will do very well. But it can happen to all of us! Fast downswing on the first had him behind a fence and a bush, hacked his way up for an opening bogey, parred 2 and then the third had me wincing! Full lob wedge from 85 out, looked like it was going to be stone dead for a birdie and back to Even, hits the base of the flag on the full and bounced off all the way to the other side of the green! I bet he went outside and kicked a dingo after that one!
We had a good match from there, and the golfing gods gave him a bit back on the last par 3. I'd played my tee shot, thought for all the world it was going in for a rare ace but it hit the stick and stayed up. Mr Duke steps up, like a rat down a drain pipe for the hole in one. Nice! Where's that dingo?....
Nice round for me except for a par at 18 after a slow off the tee, but I caught my playing partner by 3 and would certainly have taken it at the start. Too far back to challenge for the W but hoping I can catch a few with a good last round, and a nice finish here might just get me in the top 100 for the first time in a while. One more round to go!

And now, the end is near. Just loading up the game for the last time to play my final round. Regrets, I've had a few, it's been emotional. See you on the other side 😎

Played 2 rounds. I think. Might have been 1.5. Or 2.5. Was falling asleep and it wasn’t impressive. Putting as expected was sketchy. Will finish off over the weekend.

Finished third in the fedex, all on the back of a single win. Apart from that I was scraping in cuts and lucky to be top 40. Was a good one to win I guess.
Well done to Mr. Duke on the win, nice to see an Aussie 1 & 3.
Huzzah 👍🇦🇺👍

Very sorry it took me this long to get this out. Doyley wanted me to make a spreadsheet so he could set the names who earned a top 30 spot and then do the reset. So without further delay, here are the final standings of the Fed Ex Cup after the reset which started with Ray Morgan having 2000 points starting the tournament and Chris Duke having 1800, all the way down to Pavel having 115 to start the Tour Champtionship.
The final rankings. Congrats Chris Duke!!
1 Chris Duke 3,000 2 Victor Romero 2,480 3 Ray Morgan 2220 4 Mark Ainsworth 1492 5 Derek Stupak 1360 6 Justin Uhrinek 1280 7 Bill Hibbard 1180 8 Paulo Garcia 1096 9 CF Gibson 993 10 Adam Watson 881 11 Jason Gale 638 12 Chris Bates 504 13 Vikki Whittington 501 14 Ryan Bull 492 15 David Brown 482 16 Adam Tickner 471 17 Andre Quenneville 440 18 Roddy MacDougall 394 19 Brad Martin 374 20 Pavel Kuncicky 319
