A couple of quickies are coming up before we do another showcase at Ladue Country Club. First is one of my favorites from TGC2, Steamshovel. Next we will head to Negev Valley to tour one of the National Treasure courses that I haven't played yet. Lastly we'll look at Lieu de Victorie.

Been enjoying this society, even though I'm much weaker than most of the other members. Lots of challenging, unique courses. Thanks for setting it up!

Joined the society earlier today and enjoyed my first round greatly. Looking forward to playing more as and when I get the opportunity. Thanks for setting up and running this society!

I enjoyed that round at Troon. Not sure if theclv24 set it up this way, but the back nine playing into that howling wind reminded me of the final round of The Open in 1997 when Justin Leonard came home in 34 for a 65 (I fared less well on the back after a 30 on the front).

Yea that back nine was sick, driver 2 wood into par 4 is always fun lol, I’m not fully familiar with this course buts it was a shame the railway just ended would of been nice to see if it goes all the way along that back nine

Thanks for joining. I normally have more frequent updates here, but I'm barely able to squeeze in my rounds right now due to work. I'll add another week of quick events soon, and then in either 1 or 2 weeks from now we should have a new showcase event due to PithyDoctorG finish up his OG contest course.

Hey guys, October and November have been a real pain in the ass for me with work, so I haven't been able to put the time and effort into the society that I would like. With that said, I've still just managed to squeeze in all of my rounds in bits and pieces. I'm going to need a breather during the holidays, so here is my plan. I have the pictures for my showcase article on Heatherton Kings, and I am going to chip away at it and try to get it published before Thanksgiving. The last showcase event (for now) is now on, at PithyDoctorG's Grove City. I will start assembling materials for that showcase article as well. After that, I don't want the society to be dead, but I also don't want to do course reviews for awhile, so I will likely populate December with my courses or with greatest hits, just to keep things going. Once we get to the Tournament of Champions in January I should be in a better place, and ready to go full steam ahead with new courses!

Where is this society located. I searched for it in the game and don't see it listed.

I slipped up and didn't have an event during Christmas week. My little man was sick so I may not have done one even if I had remembered on time. Anyways, I went ahead and added one more event starting today at Pebble Beach, with a lot of extra coins on the line.
It won't be in place for next week's Tournament of Champions, but starting during Sony Open week, I will be looking to have a more structured schedule for Season 2. I was just coming up with the idea in my head last night, so I haven't finalized any details yet, but I am thinking something like this:
Monday - Practice Day. 1 round at a new course, no money on the line. Tuesdays with Phil - Don't know the format yet, but a 1 round money game, a la Phil's legendary Tuesday games Pro-Am Wednesday - Some kind of one round money format Thursday-Sunday Tournament - I will keep it at 2 rounds to allow everyone capacity to complete their TGCT rounds. Naming structure, entry requirements, and alternate events will likely follow the PGA schedule. I know the fields are small, but will allow top players to square off against each other and give others a chance at a win every once in awhile.
