Welcome to week 2 of the big four and this week we continue the links theme but a more traditional Links than last week. This weeks course is about the short game, with many tucked pins is tricky positions, players who can flop, chip and pitch well will find themselves with a advantage. Like all links courses, wind could make a major difference in a round, and if it’s is low, there are fantastic scoring chances. Like all four courses, course management will come into play. Enjoy your visit to Laphroaig and good luck to all.

Round 2 in 20 mph winds was a great treat, thanks again TGCTours.

Round 2 in 20 mph winds was a great treat, thanks again TGCTours. TGCT has nothing to do with the wind speeds.

Looks like I'm trunk slamming this week. Going to hang around for the end of the season and hopefully the lack of interest means I can earn a "vulture promotion" to Euro, or at least end the season with no strikes.

Well, I'm going to pop in and say hi. And bye. My short time with a SE to Web will end with a terrible outing at a wonderful course. I couldn't make a putt anywhere, and that wind in the 2nd round was insane. To top it off, when I made the turn, the wind died down to practically nothing so any benefit of playing with the wind behind me was gone. I should not have played the 3rd and 4th rounds after a couple of rounds on 2019. Big mistake. Oh well, I'll be back up here eventually. Probably not this season though.
