Shot a 59 in round 3 and then a 75 in round 4. If that doesn’t sum me up with this game then i don’t know what does lol. You using tour clubs Mike? Just switched to the hardest ones for this tournament. I liked them better. Gonna stick with it.

Well, even though I'm away living the high life in CC-Pro this week - and failing miserably at winning a CC-C tour card - I still thought I'd have a go at this week's CC-Am course, just for giggles, y'know? Anyway. "Roller-coaster ride" probably sums it up. All over the shop, from a 77(+5) in R2 to a 64{-8) in R4. Very difficult to explain. Thankfully it counts for nothing but experience.

Hello all, I’m new here just for my CC-E card last week , looking forward to being here a while, so far in the tournament I went back to back 70’s to open then fell short in rounds 3 and 4 with 74 and 73, but on the bright side I finished under par in my first tournament so thought that was good.. this game is a lot harder than I realized to keep a round going ... in round 1 I had it to 4-5 under at one point but wound up taking an 8 on the par 5 16th then bogeyed the 17th for good measure lol

I think you will like the people and the camaraderie. Not a bad first tournament at all, just keep at it and try not to get to frustrated with it (I do all the time!)

Looking at all the post on this forums I didn’t realize that 18 at sawgrass played that hard I birdied it 2 of my 4 rounds and found that just hitting a fade off the tee and going to right side of green on approach was the best way to play it ...of course I did triple bogey the easiest hole on the course(16) soooo I can’t be to high and mighty lol

I'm still relatively new too, started back at the first of the summer I think. But I love it here. its a whole different feeling having so many great folks to compete against!
Oh, and I'm the worlds worst at triple bogies on the easiest holes on the course!

My drive was fine. I usually push the ball slightly right, but for some reason, i pull it in to the water 3 times... i think my ball is a water magnet..

Yeah I pulled it slightly one time but it found the very left hand part of the green got reallllly lucky.... on 17 I hit on to the extreme right of the green and was up against the bulkhead but was dry sooo can’t complain

18 has definitely got my number this week. I have managed a bogey in the first 2 rounds unfortunately. Still sitting at -9 through 2 rounds, hoping to clear my strikes.
