As we approach the end of the season and our time on tgc 2 we will arrive at the traditional big money final four courses of the season. Basically four web.com majors in a row. Over the past couple of seasons these courses have brought many tears and tantrums. Who can forget the Chambers Bay meltdown of last season. These four courses are normally the toughest of the season, four courses picked to challenge you and test what you have learned while playing tgc 2. The four courses I have picked this year will test all aspects of your game from tee to green. We have drives where missing the fairway will be spell disaster. We have approach shots that need to be spot on the bring any hope of birdie. We have greens of varying speeds and slopes which include greens that if you are above the hole, par will be a good score. We also have four courses where birdies will be rewarded for good shots, eagles rewarded for exceptional shots and course management will be vital to climbing the leader board. These courses will bring many chances, they are not unfair or in fact overly difficult, good shots will be rewarded and bad ones punished. I would like to thank the four designers of these courses, all four have been very helpful to me since I became scheduler on the web, full of encouragement, quick to reply and ever quicker to make changes I ask for as well as suggesting changes they think would make their courses suit the web.com, so I am delighted to bring these courses to the web so you guys get to play as well as a thank you for the help over the past couple of years. In the order they will be played the courses are.

I would also like to thank all the other designers whose courses we have used this season. We have discovered new talent who are only just getting started with the course designer. We have had courses by designers who have been learning and upgrading their skills for awhile and finally got a tour course and we have designers that have been around awhile and just seem to keep getting better and better. This season we brought the first tour course to I think around 10 designers which shows the future is bright as we move on to the new game.I also want to thank all the rangers for the feedback good and bad through out the season, with out them, the tournaments we get to play might have had one or two hiccups along the way. Also a big thank you to everyone that has played on the web.com this season, we have had runaway winners, we have events that came down to just one shot, people have been promoted and demoted, all bringing a bit of excitement and tension to each week we play.
So on we move with tgc 2019 just around the corner, what it will bring I can not say. It may take a few weeks for me to figure out the correct difficulty level for the web, like last season, I welcome any recommendations as the season moves on. I got a lot of pm's from people last season, all were welcome and all will be welcome in the future. Good luck to all that will be playing any of the big four courses as well as the remaining courses in the regular season.
