I don't know why I played the official event yesterday already. As I was constantly distracted by daily routines, I should probably rather have played some society event in between instead of this one. In round one, I was at -1 after a birdie on the first hole... and I was at -1 after a birdie on the 18th. In round two, I achieved a total score of -2 thanks to an eagle on the 13th. I think this tells the story quite well. Most of my approaches were rubbish, my chips rolled off the green, and once I had the opportunity to go for a birdie, I threw in an unforced error on the short but side-sloped putt. At -3, my Euro Tour week is already over before many other players have begun.

Continued with some pretty decent form as of late, just didnt make many putts in R1, an HiO and i think 3 chip-ins helped to keep the score good. R2 i played roughly the same, still missing alot of birdie putts, unfortunately not the same luck from off the greens this round and once again it looks like it will be a close call around the cutline at -11
At least im getting stable again even if that level isnt enough to do more than fight for the cut each week but it is an improvement so im happy enough with that.

After an impressive performance in The Open, I followed that up with -4 for two rounds this week. The course had its challenges but I just couldn't hit it straight. See ya all next week!

I had a first round like y'all at -2, but then lit it up in rd2 with a -11 so survived the cut by a couple of strokes.
The two rounds weren't really that different in terms of conditions or pins, but some rounds it comes together and others it doesn't.
Yet to play the weekend but sure it will be an adventure!

My congratulations to John Powell on a great win this week. Going five under in the last four holes was remarkable. Well played and best of luck in the PGA.
