Hit and miss with this one. Started very poorly with a double at the first and then pretty much struggled All the way with the odd birdie and bogey along the way. Finished with -4. 2nd round was a lot easier with hardly any wind which made me much more relaxed and the birdies stared dropping. Still had a couple of bogeys though. Finished with -9 -13 after 2
I feel this is one of the hardest courses I’ve played up here in Euro, but very playable if you have got your thinking head on. Wind doesn’t help in round one with gusts up to 18mph in some places, but mainly around 12 to 13mph. Fairways are sticky with little roll out which is nice to see, but the bunkers are very strategically placed for you long hitters. Overall a very nice course Good luck all

Had an intimidated look on my face going into this week as i thought it was a course i had really struggled with before. Turns out it wasnt the same course, guessing there is another one with a similar name. (its a nice mental thing when you cant even remember the name of your nemesis course lol)
Still not an easy course by any means but doable and pretty fun to play. Unfortunately i suspect i will miss the cut this week on -12 but it might be a close call.

On a sponsors exemption from the WEB after my best play of the season. Shot 67-63 here in first two rounds. Not sure how things play out here but as of now it looks like I’m looking good to make the cut and earn my Euro Card at -14.

Moien!
After having missed the cut last week, I was a little anxious about this course. I played it already on some society event, and I head quite some difficulties there.
This time, however, I'm still bogey-free (!) after my first two rounds. With a 65-64 start, I'm currently standing at -15, and this might even keep me within sight of the exemption line, provided that I keep my pace. Although the scores appear to be homogeneous, the birdies didn't spread evenly. In the first round, I was ice cold for 6 holes on the front 9, but I compensated that afterwards with some lucky chipping. In contrast, I had more birdies in the first half of round two, but some poor approaches in the back 9 cost me an even better score (I'm obviously not complaining, though).
Good luck to all!

That wind in round 1 made for a really long course. Nicely designed though. Def enjoyed playing round 2 more though. Solid challenge for the week. Nice pick on the list. Really sticky greens which is kinda odd for this tour but I don't mind them one bit.

Did anyone who played so far Twitch livestream it? I do enjoy watching a few minutes of you guys play to really get a feel for how things are week to week. The write-ups are great, and thanks for the compliments, but the videos do help out, too!

Im surprised the scores are not lower with the "soft" greens.

Im surprised the scores are not lower with the "soft" greens. Maybe they aren't used to it! So true. In my practice rounds, I actively had to keep telling myself to be more aggressive on my approaches because after you see (firm/firm) 20 straight rounds, you start playing much more roll and this course gives you none. 5 and 6 irons check up like 8 or 9 sometimes when you factor in the back to front slope on some greens. Another tricky thing about the course is that certain holes really reward hitting to a particular side of the fairway off the tee. If you hit a good drive on the wrong side, you get nasty little sidehill mid/short irons in. When you combine that with the lack of roll on the approach, I can understand how a lot of miscalculations can occur. It's certainly not as straight forward as it initially seems.

Heh, I actually had a clip worth uploading this week, but the scorecard highlight thingy doesn't seem to be working unfortunately. Just for the record, it was an 89ft putt on the 17th after a poorly thought-out approach shot. Anyway, congrats to Peter Jones on obliterating the rest of the field!

Nothing like a bomb from deep to get you back in there baby! Thanks man! Honestly, it's the best I've played by a mile. First bogey free tournament! Personally, I think it's because I missed The Open qualifying by 1 stroke courtesy of a TWELVE on hole 3 in round 1 that was too much to overcome in the end. I'm not gonna lie. I was livid about that and took it out on this course lol. Redemption!

Holy moly, qualifying for The Open with a card that included a 12 would've been satisfying to say the least! Almost like you were playing with a golf handicap - if only you'd done that this week as well eh? Actually, probably would've needed a few more holes like that for us to have stood a chance! Noticed on the PS4 leaderboard that the top guy had shot a 52 in the final round.

That's just so low it's stupid haha.
