Played through this one blind, makes sense that it was heavily based on a real life course. I loved how you did the beach area, and my main (but minor) complaint was I didn't think the course utilized that area as much as it could have. The course itself is solid, and the visuals are absolutely gorgeous. This should do great in the contest! Appreciate that Matt! Get what you're saying about the oceanfront property. That was more a design choice on my part to kind of tease the ocean early, bring you inland than back out toward the ocean to finish, in keeping with MPCC. You've got a damn nice course yourself, which should make for a pretty formidable top of the Team 2 order! Totally expect you to be making a deep run in the competition as well.

Great course, I didn't notice the templates much bar the biarritz but then again I'm just getting to know them. Great work with the overall look of the course sculpting, planting and bunkers. I liked the look of the 12th and 14th and the wall round the back of 16. I soon as I seen the 18th flyover my first thought was the 18th at Pebble Beach. The rocks along the shore on the last few holes must've took an eternity to do, great course all round.
Good luck in the contest

Good luck in the contest Thanks Celtic, I reference the courses used for inspiration for each hole in the second post in this threat. Fair amount of NGLA influence in the round and, yes, 18 was very much an homage to Pebble Beach. As for the rock work, believe it or not the work on 18 took about as much time as the whole stretch of 13-16, mainly because I used the spam planting technique for much of the rock work there. It’s a major timesaver. Glad you enjoyed your round and good luck to you as well!

A not-so-shameless bump for the course that finished a strong second place in VctryLnSprts TCGT Survivor contest. May I also recommend Hickory Creek by mattf27 , a very well-deserving champion and The Kraken by Terry Grayson , a great bronze medalist.

Not sure why Jeremy, but when you post I suddenly get thirsty.

Now ported over to TGC 2019 ... I might have even thrown in a couple of extras just for VctryLnSprts Jeremy, apart from the extras for Eric, did you change anything else? For my society I'm dual running something in both versions of the game and I'm looking for recent TGC2 courses that have been ported to 2019 with minimal changes.

Aside from putting a few cars in the parking lot, it's virtually unchanged from a playability standpoint. Only things I did were go back through the bunkers and fixed a couple of spots where bare patches showed b/c of the difference in brush size on the port (didn't worry about that in the dune/natural areas). Also, filled all fairway splines to insure against the glitch a few players experienced on hole 11 where there was a small, invisible patch to light rough at the mesh point between spine & brush on the right side of the fairway.
