In my first 2 rounds I shot 67 and 66, so it looks like I'll be hovering between the exemption line and the strike line. It's a challenging course especially with the cross winds on the narrow fairways.

Tiny step back, -4 67. Another 2 bogey round, sure did miss a few I shoulda had.
-9 at the midway point, again should be strike clear but no threat to the exemption line.
ONward!

Hey RoyTGC - well played round 2. I saw you were there so I GHOSTED you. I didn't see how you hit the drink but I sure yanked one. YOu were better with your Pitch shots . I was coming up short. MAN I can hole out from bunkers on this course. I got that shot down where you spin it back into the hole. Too bad I couldn't Pitch worth beans.
We both shot -4 which I happy with. Decisions decisions off the tee aye?
-10 arthurvandelay - we're good so far. Above the strike line is always goal #1

Took a couple of weeks off, and am setting my sites for Pebble Beach. For whatever reason the PB course seems to be playing really easy vs the courses of CC-Pro over the last 3 weeks. Posted a -10 and -11 in med to stiff winds. I know practices is much different than the real deal but for now I will take the PB welcome mat and hope it carries over to next week. That is when the PB qualifier is right?

So yeah, next week.

Excellent, I missed out on the last open as I turned in my rounds to late. I do not want to make that mistake again. Thanks for the info!

Was -1 in after another STOOOOOOOOPID bogey on #4 (that makes two in a row on that hole for those scoring at home) then got in a zone: six straight birdies. Another senseless bogey on 13 had three birdies around it, but the best hole was 17 where a greedy tee shot got rinsed but I managed to save the par!
-9 in round 3 doubles my score to -18 thru 54 holes. Now to just not do something STOOOOOOOOPID in round 4.
ONWARD!!

Arrgh!
I was 3 strokes off the lead after two rounds, then shot even-par 71 in the 3rd round. Had to birdie 17 and 18 to get that! Gotta go low in round 4 to at least salvage that exemption.

Finished out with a 67 for an 18 under score overall. Not great. Not bad. Just wish I hadn't had that mess in Round 2!

So started my 3rd round in CC-C on fire with 8 birdies in a row, then just missed or struggled to get another one the next 6. Back on the birdie trail on the 15th then hit the pin from the tee on the 16th for a near hole in one. Dropped down a few clubs on 17 because I feared a collapse before playing it safe on the 18th and running off the course relieved. I shot better in that round than I did on my previous 2 collectively, might put me in the running for an exemption but will probably ruin it in the last 18.

Well done Celtic. On the OTHER hand I had 2 double bogies because of my sudden and violent lack of a 7 foot chipping touch. Must never had a real touch the entire round. Ended +1 but not real worried about the strike line in B.... yet

Ouch town, population: me! 66,68,67,73 scores for me (-10 total). The rust showed...I did not have consistent swings or tempo. That combined with high winds made for a rough week. Poor performance aside I did have a lot of fun playing The Chastener. I also did not fall victim to #bridgegate. I was able to get some of the greens to work in my favor... all though most did not lol. I did stream all 4 rounds on my twitch channel.

Saw that Fonzie Tour exemption sail right away in those blustery 4th round winds. -1, -19 for the event.
But HEY! Look Ma, no strikes.
Onward!

After a final -4 round I'm sitting in first place in CC-C. It looks as if I could be caught as there is one guy sitting 5 behind after 3 rounds and a couple still only played 2. I could do with the win as I don't fancy my chances staying up in the PGA Championship Qualifier on an exemption.
