R2 get a bird, give it back, but better than yesterday (68) +1 after 2. Not going to make it here. Putting improved. R3 tomorrow.

2nd round was a chore. Managed to get a 69 out of it. I can’t tell you how many birdies I left behind, it was ridiculous! -13 after 2. 3rd round with those winds looming now...🙄 I guess I can’t count! I’m -11, not -13 !😆

round 3 was an utter disaster for me. between the winds and my brutally awful putting there's no way possible I'm not getting a double strike. I played the last 10 holes of the round in +20. That's right +20!!! When you throw an 88 on the board, you take your strikes an move on. Ugh.

Good luck!

That awful moment when you are playing a great R2 after a great R1, doing everything right, and that one hole comes up, that all the sudden every single shot on it goes bad and you quadruple bogey, and you just want to sit down and cry.
And unless I'm thinking backwards, I thought stroke index meant 1 was hardest and 18 was easiest, so that would make 18th the easiest hole? for some reason thats the one I am having the most problem with at PB.
And Dash, I hear ya!

Just finished my 3rd round and the winds were as advertised. I was +5 going onto the 10th, able to bring it back a bit and finish +2 for -9 after 3. Hopefully it’s calmer for the final round lol

I'm really nervous now.
I've never been in this position before. I have a 7 shot lead over the field after R2. R3 and R4 I shot a pair of 67s. I think that's good for R3 in those winds but I left 5-6 shots out in R4.
Fingers and toes crossed for the rest of the week. (Ow, toe cramp!)

Yipp, the winds were tough especially the front nine and along with my usual inconsistent play all around, (77). R4 tomorrow. I'll be transmitting from my home planet "Z" next week.

Finished my first official TGCT event at -9 (70-70-71-68). If I could just leave myself some more makeable birdie putts I'd be onto something. So many 2 putts on my card.
