Cleared my strikes in CC-E and have already put in 2 good rounds in the couch potato. That course is playing pretty easy which makes me think I'll have to shoot 2 rounds out of my mind to grab an exemption this week. I've had 5 straight rounds where my putting has been good and my scores have shown it. Amazing how going from 32-34 putts per round to 24-28 make you a better player (duh!)

R1 (69) at The Couch Potato, approach shots so-so. 187 is a tough speed for me R2 Wednesday.

Am finished 1st in CC-Z on -19 . Really happy now to make use of my exemption. Well done, and just to let you know that because you finished 1st you get an automatic promotion. So no exemption and no need to finish in the top half to stay up, that's you a CC-E player now. Didn't know that, thanks. Takes some of the pressure off.

Shot a 64 -8 opening round on D and that score is good for 23rd at the moment!

Mixed feelings about R1 in the couch potato.
I shot 66 in E, not bad, I had 21 putts (personal best) Great for me.... G.I.R was only at 55%, made some great scrambles for par, too many approaches rolling off the greens.

Kinda disappointed with my last 2 rounds at the couch potato finished up 70-65. Probably good enough to finish in the top half, but won't sniff much more than that. Couldn't keep the putter going for very long at all. Seemed to burn the edge on a ton of putts. Did manage to play the very last 9 in -6 (and that's even with a bogey on one of those super easy par 5's). I've been scouting next week's course and I am afraid I'm in for double strikes. Might be time to sit one out.

Playing my second round tonight around 7:30 central time with my RL buddy. Be cool if we had a foursome for this. Just putting it out there. Turn base on of course. PS4

Well nobody answered and my buddy couldn’t make it so I played my second AND third rounds. 64 67 65 -20. Not bad, but will need another 64 I think for exception . Maybe even more than that.

Scoring well on the front 9 each round, not so well past the turn. Swing was consistently just off, so usable with adjustment, and wide fairways very agreeable to set up to score low. Only real issue was the very final hole pin position. A touch of evil. Anyway, -27 overall and the way it looks I should be able to avoid carrying strikes into next week at Pebble Beach. That third round -11 is also my best score in a competition round to date.

No exemption for me this week My 3rd round killed me, found water 3 times!! R1: 66 R2: 67 R3: 69 R4: 65 Total of -21 Personally that's the best overall score for a tournie for me, Still that water on R3 will haunt me for a while.... (note to self, buy new floaties)

Well glad I didn't WD after the first two. Winds better in R3, as was putting, even left a couple out there, -3 after 3. R4 tomorrow.

Posted a -22 for the week. 3 decent rounds but a -1 in r2 kind of ruined the week. Hoping it’s enough to avoid strikes in cc-d but looking like it’ll be close.
