Only recently interacted with you Thomas via the RRCC Tour as I’m rather new around here but saw this thread pop up so followed it through. What a fighter your lad is!! Very pleased to see the good news.

I don't know you sir as I am fairly new to the world of tgctours, but I will def include your Lil boy in my prayers. My heart goes out to you and I pray that it will all be a blessed end to just a horrific bump in the road hopefully. Gluck, thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

I hadn't seen this, great news boss! As I said at the start, modern medicine and a strong will are wonderful things. Wonderful that you have some light and the end of the tunnel, hopefully now you can start the process of getting back to a normal life without this shadow hanging over you. He's got a great smile Thomas

Absolutely thrilled at the news you've received. Me and my girlfriend have been hopeful that your child's condition would improve since the day you posted this. Really happy to read this.

Hey guys, hope you're all doing fine! I'm just writing these words from hospital. We came in today for our final tests after chemo(therapy) has ended last Wednesday. We had a computed tomography on his lungs today, and there's a MRI scan done tomorrow. CT results are already in... everything looking good. Keep them fingers crossed (and pray if you like) that the scan tomorrow will be positive too. #KeepOnFighting

Can't find the right words to explain my feelings right now, but let me tell you quickly that the MRI scan today was absolutely positive. Although there is a (small) risk that the cancer might come back one day, he actually has fully recovered from a medical point of view. He's going to have another quick surgical intervention tomorrow where his Hickman catheter is going to be removed, but this is it for now they said. Let me honestly thank you for all your thoughts & prayers over the past few months! This really meant a lot to me, especially as I know none of you personally. When we raise a few beers tomorrow, I'm going to think of you.

Lieber Thomas,
I am reading this post for the first time and, as a father of a 5-year old and almost neighbour of yours (Munich, but jumping very often towards Innsbruck and Vienna) I felt very touched by the history you are telling. This disease is hard for everybody but children have the better chances to heal. I am very happy to see that your son is on complete remission now! Please do party this weekend!
