Thought i would start this thread since it looks like no1 else wants to, very quiet down in Europe.
So after yoyo'ing between PGA and Euro these last few weeks, i find myself back here after a failed exemption last week no real wind over the first 2 rounds, picks up in round 3, if you judge your landing area's on some tight drives the course is pretty easy
Played pretty solid, nothing special, but i feel my score will be good enough for another exemption, just got to try and concentrate a little more
-9 -9 -13 -10 total 41 under
Good luck everyone, and WAKE UP !!!!!!!

Not a lot to say about this one. Not my cup of tea. Only managed -5 after two rounds. Par central and a couple of bogeys to boot. Just not meant to be this week. good luck to you all

-14 at the turn. -7 both rounds. Very proud of my second round cause I started with a double on #1. My putting was off the charts!

Judging by my scores in TST this week i think the best tactics to avoid strikes would be to just not play my euro rounds this week. didnt even feel like i played that bad atleast R1...R2 is a different story. Dont even remember playing holes 2-17 that round, a true autopilot bogeytrain. Ofcourse i have planned to skip a week or two before and has yet to happen so i fully expect to change my mind later in the week and forcing myself to speedgolf 36 holes before the cut. on a positive note, last time i did that i had 2 good rounds and cleared 4 strikes so maybe that will work this time too im really impressed with all the scores so far this week!!

Here from the web on my second try at a euro card after winning my 2nd web event. This is actually the course where I won my first tournament on TGC1 in my cc-a days. So good vibes playing here again but with tour clubs for the first time completing an event. Managed -41 with many opportunities missed in round 3. Curious how everyone else will fair. Tight bouncy fairways required high focus!

After one week involuntarily off and a total of almost two weeks without TGC, I played my first two rounds earlier this week. Since we had our national holiday on Friday, I'll write my report in luxembourgish. For those of you not familiar with that language: The text is about not making the cut.
Di éischt Ronn huet scho verhalen ugefaang, well meng Putten einfach net eragoë wollten. Esou war ech op E no 5 Lächer, obwuel ech grad esou gutt dräi Schléi besser hätt kënne sinn. Meng dräi Birdien, déi ech op de Lächer 6 bis 11 geschoss hunn, hunn ech mer dunn op der 12 erëm futti gemaach, well ech op eemol bei engem Flop e luesen Downswing hat. Tatsächlech war mäin Chipspill och net wiirklech ronn gelaf, an esou ass mäin zwwete Bogey och duerch en Chip komm, dee vill ze wäit geroden ass. An esou war ech matt vill Méi op -2 nom éischten Tour.
De Start vum zweete Versuch ass vill besser gaang matt direkt dräi Birdien op den éischten dräi Lächer. Leider konnt ech déi Geschwëndegkeet awer nees net halen. Tatsächlech hunn ech bis zum virleschte Lach all Birdie, deen ech geschoss hunn, direkt erem matt engem Bogey egaliséiert. Domatt war ech dann no 17 Lächer ëmmer nach op -3. Dat lescht Lach ass dunn nawell kurios gelaf, well ech et tatsächlech fäerdeg bruecht hunn, zweemol hannertenee (!) d'Holz um Rand vum Waasser ze treffen. Ech hu mech um leschte Lach also net luppe gelooss, mee dat war einfach Pech durch ze héige Risiko.
No den éischten zwou Ronne leien ech doduerch also bei E a muss ewuel domatt rechnen, dass ech dëss Woch direkt zwee Kräizer bäigesat kréien. Majo dann. Di nächst Woch sinn ech hoffentlech nees méi a Form.
Vill Gléck iech all!

I like this golf course. At the beginning of the tournament I set my target to get an exemption and get myself back up into the PGA Tour.
I’ve been down here a month or so and I’ve had enough.....it’s boring.
Round 1 - Lame. -7. Round 2 - I played pretty well and the -11 got me sitting quite nicely on -18. No worries about the cut, just had to push on and get over the line.
At this point I read Vikki’s post starting this thread and she seemed confident -41 would be in so that was my target
Round 3 - Lame -8. Messy off the tee and it cost me. I’m sitting wondering whether to press continue and play my final round or leave it until tomorrow. I need -15 to match the guys who have carded -41’s
Hmmm 🧐

I hope the golfing gods are kind. I think -36 will be enough to get you an exemption. So minimum -10 go get it 😄

You guys are way too hard on yourselves. I failed round 4 for a -25 total. Another middle of the pack finish. Those who posted above from the Web tour, you got your card. Congrats, you did earn it. This course will eat you up if you don't play it right.
Checkout my season history if you need any affirmation. I can go one week missing the cut, and the next week have a shot at the PGA! Sometimes you get on a roll and it snowballs into the weekend. Sometimes it fizzles out. Sometimes you can't seem to break par on a course that everyone else is having their way with.

Second week of having a Euro card, after making my way up from CC-E two years ago. Is a thrill to have a Euro card and look back to see how far my game has progressed. Will be happy if I live out my TGCT career in Euro.
Last week didn't go well with a strike, I struggle to play wind well. This week however is more my style, I tend to over-perform vs the field on these tight tricky courses, think it just makes me concentrate more and do a better job. Conversely on "easier" tracks I tend to under-perform vs the field, so more tricky tracks please!
-7 in rd1 and -5 in rd2, key to a good finish for me will be minimizing bogeys and making the most of birdie views, just don't get greedy, plus hope for low wind conditions.

Put something together in R4 and everything clicked apart from a 5 foot missed birdie on the par 5 9th.
-16 in R4 for -42 overall. 🏌️♂️
