I’ll kick this one off! After a dismal performance in qualifying for the us open and a mediocre mid table in euro, I am very please with the first two rounds in this weeks event. It seems to be one of them courses that set your legs agangling at the start, but once you get into it it’s not too bad. Managed a 63 -7 in the first round with a bogey start and not putting birdies until I think half way. Then they were going in from short chips from all sorts of angles. The second round was much of the same but this time no bogeys and a few birdies on the front nine. With 2 or 3 lip outs, I still managed a 62 -8. Even with lip outs I’m very please with my efforts. This weeks course is very nice, but I’m not liking the hills up to the green. With very tight pin positions, you either have to get out the long putter or 6 or 7 feet down the bank! The wind was good in the first round and started getting up late in the second. Good luck all
Edit: it seems I am really bad a counting. First round 63 -8 second round 62 -9 and not what I put above. Back to school for me....

So last week I was trying to clear strikes on the web tour. Managed to do that by somehow finishing 3rd and earning an exemption to Euro this week. -20 after 2, don't ask, no idea....

After a few rubbish weeks with missed cuts on the PGA I find myself down on Euro. Played ok in patches but for some reason I encountered lag on the first hole in all 4 rounds which resulted in 3 bogies, anyway
12, 7, 15 and 9 under respectively so -43
Possibly enough to earn an exemption but who knows Good luck all

Demoted from PGA 2 wks ago & only just made the cut last week then rallied for a mid table finish so delighted to start v quickly out the traps with an excellent-16......... then the recent form kicked in with a dismal-6 in the 2nd rnd , decided it was best to stop there for the moment as Mr Hyde decided Dr Jekyll was to move out the way. I’ll return later in the week to see what delights my game has in store for me for the last 2 rounds ......anyone’s guess !! Good luck everybody.

After seing your first round score I decided to play your ghost to see if I could keep up. Started off alright matching you birdie for birdie in the opening few holes, then I made my first slip up and could not sustain my good form for the whole round, ending up at a respectable -12. Have to say you played the 18th perfectly during that round. During my practice rounds and during the round itself I could never quite pull that shot off. I would come up just a bit too short and either stop dead or roll slightly back down the hill rather than trickling onto the green.

I might have blown my efforts with my 2nd rnd but I managed a further -20 in the next 2 to finish on -42. It might get me an exemption but not sure. As for the 18th , thanks but , theory I do well , execution on the other hand , that’s intermittent lol

Missed out on qualifying for the US Open by a shot last week, so felt fairly confident going into this week despite hardly ever competing on Tour this season. Well, that didn't last very long. I battled tempo/timing issues (self-inflicted) for two rounds, getting a ton of Fast backswings. I repeatedly came up well short on approaches, and didn't come close to making enough quality shots.
-6, -2
Flirting with the double-strike line and a demotion, but luckily, several Euro regulars are in the Open this week and the field is a little bit smaller.

Just finish my last two rounds and I’m very pleased with them. Shot -10 61 for the 3rd and a messy -5 66 for the 4th for a grand total of -32. Overall, played really well up here in Euro. Hopefully I’m here to stay.
