Also, this week you’re playing my course! Most important thing to remember is to plan your approaches- the greens can me a monster from some angles, but if you’re in the right spots, you can get some pretty easy birdies. Make sure to stop by the sushi bar in the clubhouse! Good luck!

I’ve just earned an exemption whils on exemption. I will be playing in CC-C I take it?? If I don’t make the cut, will I be given a tour card for D? Or will I go back down to E??....

Yes, you’ll be playing on C. And if you fail, you’ll end up in CC-D, as earning an exemption from there counts as finishing above the strike line on the flight and keeping your card. Good luck, remember to play the CC-Pro society!

Last weeks course is what I needed to put me back on track. First week in Z and finished only 4 strokes behind the exemption line. I think my putting is coming around finally!

Very frustrating 75, was pretty meh all day, a duffed chip and some horrible putts costing me bogies.
Some very unforgiving greens if you get them slightly wrong on the approach
Edit: Slightly better R2 of 64! Smashed the back 9 with -7 including a 30ft putt on the 18th to finish it off! Just need to string 4 rounds like this together in a week instead of 1 or 2

practice round 66, then opened bogey-bogey, ugh. held it together for a rd1 69, which hurts. round 2 was much cleaner with a 66.
hopefully i can keep that trend going. this course feels pretty sturdy....doesn't give up birdies easily.

First round back down in CC-D went well, I shot -5 on both front and back 9 for -10. There's not really been a chance of an eagle putt on the course, so I think the short game will be important to get one. Approach shots are paramount on this course as the greens can slope away from the holes so you need to get it as close as you can.

Played a practice round last night a few holes behind CiB0RG (who shot a tidy -9 for round 1 on his Fonzie Tour exemption). I really like the course, but I'm leaving town Thursday not returning till Monday night. Sure it's a good course for speed golf, but I lose focus after anymore than 2 rounds. Decisions, decisions (sorry, not meaning to sound like some here that rant for attention, just thinking out loud)

Oh wow, T54 after that first round 69 in CC-D...course isn't playing as tough as I'd hoped....I'm going to have to go real low next 2 rounds to avoid a strike!

No sense in trying to rush when there is no penalty for sitting one out! Sometimes a week off helps your game!
