Laggiest course I’ve ever played. I’ve never rage played tour rounds before, but.... I finished R3 with a 10 and opened R4 with two more max scores. It’s just ridiculous when my frame rate is jumping from 45 to 35 to 10 to 23 to 69 to 32 to.... what the hell. I love rock work, but playability comes first, and this course was downright unplayable for me. Lets hope that TGC3 has better optimized models for course creation.

Rocks don't tend to cause much lag for me, in general. When rangers tested this course, 4 of 5 rangers reported no lag whatsoever. The last ranger reported some minor stutter that never had any impact on the shot.
I think something else is at play. Even when I play on my PC, which is way underpowered, I get a steady frame rate (albeit 17-18 FPS).
I don't know why your frame rate was jumping around like that.

It’s done it before, Patrick. It just isn’t this bad, typically.

Finished my exemption in CC-A.
Carded some scores I'm happy with but made some mistakes that I could have avoided if I took my time instead of rushing. Had to play 3 rounds in one night because I'm going out of town.
-9, -9, -6, -9... total score -33
I think it will be enough for me to stay on the Fonzie tour. If I hadnt been on such a dry spell in round 3 I may have even been close to another exemption!

Could hardly buy a putt on the first three rounds seeing numerous efforts sail slowly past one or other of the edges even rolling across the back edge or close to. As a result I was being dangerously close to getting at least a single if not couple of strikes. There was a dearth of birdies in the front nine on each of the rounds. All changed in Round 4 with 5 under for the first nine and another 5 birdies on the back nine (plus a bogey) for a total of -18. Should keep me out of strike territory. Now off for a weekend of Mountain Biking

Highlight of my week? A final-round ace on the Par 4 17th!! I took it, and ran like hell. What's the old adage, "Better to be lucky than good."? :-)

Looks as if I'll be joining CC-C again next week, but judging by my PR round of +2 it might be a hi and bye again.

What club did you use? I went long with my driver at that back pin position but there was a bit of a backstop so I stayed on the green.

So, i don't normally get involved in these chats. However, just gotta say that it's a shame that some courses lag and have low fps on different systems and rigs. Hopefully HB will be able to solve these issues in upcoming releases.
That said, imop, this course ranks right up there as one of the best courses published this year.
I also believe that this year has produced some of the best courses ever. Much kudos to our designers. Also to Griff and others who are putting on the competitions that are making designers strive to achieve a higher level.

I’ll check my replay.

Hmm if depending on what the 2 stragglers do , I may get to meet the Fonz next week. I had an eagle on 12 at 151 yeards that helped the exemption push. Over all a good tournie, and I am practicing with good scores on the next.
See you on the greens!

New week and I’m +4 after 7.
I’m at my wits end with Slow/Fast again and my swing has not changed.
@!$# this game is infuriating.
