The In-game leaderboards: a) are platform-specific. b) include all players regardless of whether they are on your flight, or even whether they are registered with TGCTours.com. Many unofficial TGCTours.com rounds are included in the in-game leaderboard, and many others are missing. I try to avoid the in-game leaderboards because of this. It can give you false hope or get you down, so I'll check the TGC Tours leaderboard before starting and a while after.

Finished -25 in CCC. Don’t think that’s anything other than clearing strikes.
The course had some challenges for sure and I just couldn’t keep it anything but pin high. Too many long putts for me.
On to next week.

This will be an historic week as I’m getting my first shot at CC-A. Hoping an average of -7 per round will do trick to crack the top 50%. Any words of wisdom in this rarified air? Good luck out there. Only thing I can say from my 1 and only CC-A exemption shot is, go big or go home. I tried to play it safe by playing conservatively (minimizing mistakes and all that), but that led me to a dismal opening round of -3. Just one “off” round could dash your hopes, so stay focused and go for it!

My ability to put approaches inside 10 feet left long before that. Also turns out that four “off” rounds will do you in as well. Finished -11 on a course that I love playing. Alas. History repeats itself - every exemption into the next tier for the first time goes poorly. But I will right the ship and conquer the beast soon enough. For now, I’ll quietly skulk in B. Cheers!🍻🍻

See you in CCB unless Vandelay and I rip it up this week!

I've been doing my best to help you earn your card in CC-A by playing like crap. Managed a pretty nice comeback in round 3 with a 62 for -15 with one round to go. Looks like I'm just playing to avoid the strikes this week! (After a 60 last week and 62 this week it seems like round 3 is the only round where I can kind of keep it together!). Good luck out there. Ya know, I like Hellenic RGL but it did NOT like me back.
-1 and that only thanks to a lucky, flukey pitch in for eagle on 15.
Get those strikes ready, feels like one of those weeks.
Onward!

No idea what happened but a -2 in round 1. Like you Marc - can't hit birdies, approach shots JUST too far away. Can't blame the course as it's well put together.

Get on me,first full week in cc-a an I'm sitting pretty in 3rd after rd 1.
I ended up with -28 overall so I should be safe enough from strikes.
I don't think it'll be enough for an exemption tho.

Looks like I have come back down to Earth here. Rounds of 69, 68 and a disastourous 74 have me sitting at -2 after three. The 7th hole killed me. Found the water and ended up taking a snowman. Need a super round 4 but it’s a tall order. Hopefully I don’t get more than a single strike this week.

Well... considering that Art Vandelay crapped the bed so far looks like our joint-effort plan of taking CC-B by storm has hit a brick wall. Mind you, my play has been marginal at best. Went -6 in Round 1, and slightly better in Round 2. Still not enough to carry the day (or our team). Back to the drawing board!

After two indifferent rounds I brought it back nicely with 62 in round 3 but in round 4 I was plagued by slow downswing after slow downswing and finished with a 73 (which included a triple on 7 after a drive in the fairway--slow downswing second shot followed by an ill-timed very slow downswing on a flop did me in). I fear that's double strike territory in CC-A.

I have very rarely had any issues with flops, but in the last week I have had several 35-yarders become 52-yard fliers due to alleged fast downswings. Wondering if you've noticed an uptick in flop-related difficulties.

A bogey and a double offset most of my birdies. -2 for the round, -3 thru 36.
Yeah, gonna be double strikes for me.
