moneyman273Do we have to use tapatalk or can I just take the screen shots with my psn and upload via twitter like I do for my W.I.P pics? Great question. Tapatalk certainly isn't required but seems to be a popular method to post scorecard pictures. Any other viable method works. I just need to see the scorecard, which will also show the tee and pin location for each round.

Welcome to season 2 of the non-Society, 24K Gold Team Tournament, which will begin on Monday, September 17th. There will be 60 players divided into 30 teams of 2. The teams will be split into two leagues, the Golden Bear League (14 teams, top 7 teams qualify for the playoffs) and the Shark League (16 teams, top 9 teams qualify for the playoffs). Each team will play a total of 9 matches against the other teams in their league. (Not every team will play each other in their respective league). At the end of the regular season, the top 16 teams (see disbursement of playoff teams per league above) will make the playoffs with the winners of each league eventually meeting in the Championship Final. All matches will be played over 36 holes of stroke play (One course, two different pre-selected tees and pins) with teammates scores being combined. The lowest scoring team will receive 10 points. Both teams will receive 5 points each in the event of a tie.
Also during season 2, I bring a return to the extremely popular individual tournament which will run alongside the team tournament. The top 20 players each week with the lowest scores (both rounds combined) will receive points. The player with the best combined round score will receive 100 points, 2nd best will get 95 points, and so on down until the 20th player who receives 5 points. All players points will be added up throughout the season and at the end of the regular season the top 32 players with the most points will make the playoffs. Matchups and seeding will be determined at a later date. Course venues will be determined in the future. This season long tournament will be known as the Aluminum Cup Series.
Standings/matchups/etc will be updated every MONDAY (EST, update time will vary) so rounds will be able to be played at some point on MONDAY to LATE SUNDAY NIGHT (scores must be submitted by 11 PM Eastern Standard Time). Sometimes I may get scoring updated earlier. Long story short, if you see the match-ups and venue posted on Monday, you’re free to begin for the week.
Please take a moment to read the subsequent posts which will have the score submission template language/screenshot requirements, rules and team assignments. Week 1 matchups will be posted by Sunday night, September 16th.

TOURNAMENT RULES/ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS (Will be updated the more I think of them):
1) This is an open club choice tournament, however I ask for the following: Please use the SAME club set for BOTH rounds in a week (no master set for the long tee set and then basic for the short tee set). You are permitted to switch club sets each week, if you so choose.
2) Have fun, dammit.
3) Be loyal to your teammate and this tournament. Respect that there are varying levels of talent in this tournament. (Teams have been selected in order to balance out level of talent and to try and maximize the competitive, yet fun nature of this tournament).
4) PLEASE Follow the posting guidelines I’ve set up. It will make my life easier and will make the single thread format flow better. It is also easier for other players to follow the thread/score submissions, etc.
5) Please adhere to the TGCT rules of putting, specifically no chipping on the greens (less than 100 feet) and chipping allowed if over 100 feet or a fringe obstruction.
6) Practice rounds MAY be played (no need to change to Stableford scoring), on any tee but must use the pin locations I will indicate at the beginning of each week. This (hopefully) will eliminate multiple round playing with the “best” score submitted. This is a gentleman's sport and I ask you to adhere to gentleman's rules. No starting over a round, modifying course conditions, etc.
7) We have two alternate players at this time (I may also play as an alternate too in the event I can't secure another alternate). If you're not able to play your rounds, I recommend that you contact the alternate representative (feel free to inform me too) via direct message, well in advance of the score submission deadline. (Alternate must play BOTH rounds, can’t be “split”) Alternate may only play rounds ONE TIME for any given team for each week. First come, first served. If the alternate isn’t available for one team, he shouldn’t be available for another team.
8) Constructive criticism of a course within the thread is more than acceptable, I just ask that you explain why. Same goes with compliments. Tell us all why. It’s great feedback. Critique of the designer, outside of the level of constructive, or constant complaints about my CHOICE of courses will not be tolerated and discussion will occur via DM. Critique of a teammate will not be tolerated. Any issues or concerns will be discussed with me via DM.
