Well after 2 rounds from 0-15' 22 1st attempts only 32% made. Beyond 15' 0/14. 1.86 putts/hole not getting it done (+4). R3 tomorrow.

It's the long putts that kill you on this course. Anything over 10' and it's a struggle. So the option is to land next to the pin, and with these greens the ball will usually hold.
Accuracy with the irons is key here, get your distances/winds/elevations factored correctly and pray for a straight swing!

Finished the week at 18 under. No glitches this week but still a very frustrating game. There is no predictable consistency in the shot outcome.
As an example, I know that if I rush the downswing I'm going to get a fast downswing. However, it's more forgiving than a slow downswing which sends your ball way out to the right. Anyway, there's this one hole where I decide that I want to play it to pull the shot left a bit so I go for a fast downswing. It's easy enough to do. I can do it with my eyes closed. I just swing as fast as I possibly can.
Except this time, the software decides to give me a perfect/perfect. Now I know, there is NO way that shot was perfect/perfect. If I could have videotaped my joystick movement, it would have been as obvious as the day is long. And yes, there it was, perfect/perfect. The result? My ball lands on the right side of the fairway instead of the left, which is where I wanted to put it, and proceeds to bounce into the rough.
Next tee shot, smooth all the way through (nowhere near as fast as the previous tee shot) and the software gives me slow/fast.
WTF?
As a result, this time aiming at the center of the fairway, I end up pulling it into the left rough.
It's almost like the software looks at what it is I'm trying to do and then fights against it. That's why from now on, every time there is a water hazard on the right side, I aim way to the left of the fairway and swing as fast as I can. I'd rather put the ball in the left rough than lose a stroke because the ball went in the water off of a SLOW backswing which ALWAYS happens with water on the right. Either slow or the shot goes on the outside edge of the cone on the right even though the previous 10 fairways every shot was straight.
You're all welcome to use my ghost ball to see what I'm talking about.
So yeah, even without the glitches, I really despise this game as there is no consistency. A fast swing does not always register as a fast swing. I can prove this.
In the meantime, I've avoided a strike for another week as I'll probably finish in the 60s or 70s. Certainly well below a hundred.

CC-E. -2 Going into the 18th on my final round and all of a sudden my tempo decides to bugger up. It varied from very slow to very fast with little to no decernable difference in my inputs. I ended up making 10 although that is partly down to poor putting.

Had another decent round, no issues with tempo because I use Player clubs because Tour clubs go all over the place and are basically uncontrollable. Important to factor in the effect of the lie of the ball on those sloping fairways too. Round 4: 64(-8) Happy with that, liked the course this week with the receptive greens. Next week's going to be a completely different ball game.

Yup! and accuracy is a problem for me and the winds not even a factor so far. I have a tendency to put to much speed in my putts when greens are "slow". I had a -8 in pr2 with Igolfbad. then a +6 R1 so that sounds like the problem is me lol. I'll keep playing!!

Finished the week at -34!! By far my best ever! Hope it’s enough for another expemtion but I have a strong feeling that the scores will be quite low this week so fingers crossed! Fantastic score! I was pleased as punch with my -30 but hats off for that round and I agree there could be some low scores and going to be a long week watching us slide down the leaderboard)) I finished in between the both of you on -32. I set my usual target of halfway up the leaderboard roughly -7 after the 1st round. My first 2 rounds were -6 each so an OK start but short of where I wanted to be. Then my last 2 rounds were -10 each to finish -32 so it'll be an anxious wait as I'm sitting just above the exemption line after the 3rd round. Hopefully we'll all get the move up to CC-C and maybe have a go at a major in Pro.

Cheers yeah I managed to get used to the course on the 2nd half of the tournament. I think going by current scores and if it goes the way of the first 3 rounds, you should be above the line. 35th looks as it's going to be above the line, I'm just above and hoping the ones around me don't hit a -10 round.

CC-E 75 73 69 68. Annoyed by the first two rounds. Played well on them with just one bad hole on each round. Enjoyed the course was really good although you have to hit close to the pins as those greens are not easy. Should soon be in CC-Z which is probably where my level is right now though I soon hope to be back in CC-E.

Shot my best ever rounds and got a hole in one to boot, my first ever!! Ended up -36, after a 61, 67, 64, 60. I had practiced the course using green tees thinking those are what we would be using, so when I found it it was the shorter tees it seemed to give me a bit of extra edge to my game.
