thanks for the good vibes Rob. to be quite honest I can probably blame my struggles this week on the fact that I played Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2014 with my buddy over the weekend. Swinging and putting is a totally different feel on that game. Just need to get my TGC swing back. Phew, I thought he was going to blame playing his rounds with me as the problem.... can't do that quite yet since you seemed to bring me luck last week!

I can’t putt worth sh%$..... something like 10th from last in CC-B in PPH, but thanks to better-than-average recovery and approach play, I’m a shade below the (20%) exemption line! Swear I lead TGCT in 1” tap-in pars...

Swear I lead TGCT in 1” tap-in pars... Im sitting alongside you at -20 after 3 rounds, and feel your tap in pain. Had a dozen over rounds 2 and 3, could have been well within the 20% Didnt have a good enough final round either, -5, so thats me out of the running for an exemption I reckon...

Ugh. I went 62-66-66- 69 with my sponsor exemption to CC-A. I'll get my full-time card for A, but that 69 is probably going to put my just outside the SE to Web. What's really tragic is, I played so well in the wind in round 1, then average during the calm 2nd and 3rd round. The wind in round 4 really messed me up. I couldn't get the ball closer than 8-10 feet and couldn't get any of those putts to go down. I would estimate I needed 65 or better to get inside the line. I'm inside by 2 strokes now, but after round 4, I'll be out.

WELL - after failing to STAY in CC-A by 3 strokes I was hoping for another exemption this week but a unforced BLOOP into the water cost me 2 stokes and I think I'll end up 1 or 2 strokes shy with a -27 ! DANG IT!

Totally coincidentally I was checking out the player stats for the tourney last night....if I recall correctly, our stats are remarkably similar. However, I’m pretty sure I’m leading in the “f@#k me!” column.... 😋

On CC-A exemption this week and promptly opened with a 71. Went into DGAF mode and it looks like I played well enough to earn my card with two shots to spare.
*compulsively refreshes leaderboard since he probably just jinxed himself*

18th and sitting in an exemption spot with a day to go. If I keep it it'll be 3 in a row. Could be waiting on a spot in the Web.com this time next week if all goes well.
It's mad to think that I was in Cc-d just 3 weeks ago

Ive had 3 consecutive weeks were I've finished around 28 under. That's only -7 per round. Ive changed my mentality lately playing for the average instead of aiming for 14/15 under. Working well so far!

Yes, finding that the key (for me) is just not making mistakes. Don’t need “heroic” shots... just gotta avoid “dumb@ss” ones. Play to average, and maybe sneak one extra birdie in, and you’re laughing.... or so the theory goes...

Playing the percentage shot, especially out of the rough, works for me Leaving a 50 yard pitch for an up and down for a certain par, instead of a shy at the pin from a dodgy lie saves shots. And a shot saved is a shot gained

Looks like I need a pair of -7 rounds to keep clear of any strikes. CiB0RG mentioned something during 2nd round play that strikes were being waived this week due to a server snafu...can I get confirmation on this? Not gonna change how I play, but would be good to know.
